ANP announces support for Rabbani in presidential election

ISLAMABAD: The Awami National Party (ANP) has announced its support for PPP candidate Senator Raza Rabbani in the presidential election.

According to party leader Haji Adeel, ANP parliamentarians will cast their vote for Rabbani , adding that they had not been contacted by the PML-N or PTI. “The PML-N is yet to finalize a candidate,” Adeel said.

The presidential election in scheduled to be held on August 6 and the PPP, PML-Q, PTI have finalized their candidates for the post. The PML-N has shortlisted three candidates.
