Another PML-N MNA leaves party to join PTI after Gujranwala

FAISALABAD: The ongoing streak of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz lawmakers leaving the party continued, as another party MNA jumped ship on Friday to join the Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

The lawmaker in question this time is Dr Nisar Jatt from Faisalabad, who met with the PTI chairman today.

According to the PTI press release, during the meeting between the two, party’s former general secretary Jahangir Tareen was also present.

Dr Nisar Jatt announced to join the PTI along with his aides. PTI Chairman appreciated the latest joinings and said that it will be proved in future that Jatt made the right decision, detaching himself from ‘a mafia’.

The PTI chairman further said that the nation is ready for change and in the next month a countrywide election campaign will begin with a rally at Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore.

Last week, the ruling PML-N lost two lawmakers from Gujranwala to PTI.


PML-N loses MNA, MPA from Gujranwala to PTI


Last year saw a series of political switchings, with a number of political workers and lawmakers joining Imran Khan-led PTI.

To name a few, Pakistan People’s Party Nazar Gondal, Firdous Ashiq Awan, Babar Awan joined the PTI last year.

In May 2017, former president Asif Ali Zardari’s close aide also switched to the PTI, whereas, former chief minister Sindh Liaquat Jatoi left the PML-N to join Imran’s party.

in previous elections a wide majority of independent candidates won from Punjab later join ruling Govt and reason was “ Behti Ganga mein hath dho lein “

These guys are true lotas, they enjoyed their time while in power and when they saw that the fun times are about to come to an end they decided to switch parties. PTI for god sake stop taking these lotas.

If PTI were in the business of buying horses like Zardari and Nawaz then we would have seen the LARGE SCALE exodus from PMLN a long time ago...

Its all about (1)money (i.e. looting development funds) and (2)status as they are a horde without ideology.

Who ever joins PTI after senate elections has had already looted every last penny possible and shall be set to secure status for the next elections...

Our society and media measures success with numbers on any side...sadly PTI has little choice but accept numbers hell bent on securing status by joining it - rules of dirty politics that must be played on Zardari and Nawaz pitch - the other option is stay away and be left out of politics.

Im just happy that Imran Khan is not horse trading in Senate Elections like Zardari and Nawaz.

It is shameful that people like MUSHAHID HUSSAIN AND HUNDREDS SITTING IN ELECTED HOUSES HAVE BEEN LOOTING AND PLUNDERING US AND CONSEQUENTLY HAVE CHOSEN TO SECURE THEIR STATUS AT THE COST OF ANY SHRED OF DIGNITY LEFT BEHIND.

Agreed And this is the difference of IK between Nawaz and zardari . Lets see what happens today in senate elections. It will show us how much PTI is prepared for general elections.
