Another Network Of Indian Spies Unearthed In Pakistan

.
No idea what you mean or how it is important.

Well, if you were following news then, a Pakistani spy ring based out of Pakistani embassy in Delhi was exposed recently. A Pakistani diplomat was arrested at Delhi Zoo, red handed with incriminating evidence.
A few Pakistani diplomats have been sent home for espionage.

Now Pakistan responds a day later, that it has found a day later that it has found 7 Indian "spies" working at Indian embassy.

Isn't that a little on the nose ?

What if they already knew about this guy was supporting terrorists and were monitoring him, and given what India did they decided to use it as an opportunity to expel him?

There is a logical fallacy here, if Pakistan's counter intel already knew, these were Indian spies, then why not act before.

One does not need an excuse , to kick out/ arrest spies/terrorists.

Why give a spy, more time in your country, to find out more about you or carry more acts of terrorism ?

What excuse did India need , to kick out, Pakistani spy ? Nil, except for the fact, he is a spy.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s security agencies have unearthed another network of Indian spies that is involved in terrorism in Pakistan and is being run under auspices of New Delhi’s embassy based in Islamabad, Samaa reported Wednesday.

Security sources say the network is second largest in Pakistan after the espionage setup of Kulbhushan Yadav, an Indian national arrested in Balochistan spying for Indian spy agency, RAW.

Two officials of Indian embassy, Rajesh Kumar Agnihotri and Balbir Singh are acting as cover agents of RAW and India’s Intelligence Bureau (IB) in Pakistan.

Officials said Agnihotri is Counsellor Commercial of RAW while Balbir Singh is Secretary Press and Information of IB. – Samaa

When you are talking about how states behave, what's logical isn't always what gets executed. Substitute it with what's popular or what makes one looks like having bigger balls. Like I said, they might have been monitoring his communication to find out more details about the spy ring and thus didn't expel him. He would have already been marked for to be expelled, and would eventually have been expelled anyway. The fact that a Pakistani diplomat got expelled first presented this as a good opportunity to show "having bigger balls" (like I mentioned before) and respond with a tit-for-tat expulsion.

If Pakistan was monitoring them to find out about more about their network, so why stop now and expel them? Why give away the opportunity to find all about their ring, their networks in Pakistan, just because India has expelled Pakistani spy ring ?

Counter intelligence is not game of 'showing, who has bigger balls' . It is done to minimize the harm the to your country.

When a spy is discovered, most states perform , one of the three sets of actions.

1) Either they feed him wrong information, to spread disinformation and confusion to the enemy.

2) Or they convert him into a double agent. (an asset)

or

3 )Arrest / expel him immediately.

If any of these Indian's expelled, were actual spies, Pakistan would have chose to do one of these three actions.

Since they can not be assets or why would Pakistani expel them.

If they were being used for spreading disinformation, again no reason for expelling them.

Now if they were spies, who can neither be converted, nor be disinformed, there is no reason prolonging their stay, and continue to harm your country, waiting for the other country to expel your spies first.

In all probability these were just normal diplomats, their expulsion is nothing more than a petty tit for tat move.

You can apply your own personal logic all you want. The history is littered with these kind of incidents where one country busts a spy ring only for another country to do the same thing. You don't know what Pakistani intelligence was thinking or what information they had.

All I say is I have more trust in them than your own arm chair think-tanking. This is because every time they have released an Indian accused of spying who had spent many years in our jails, one of the first things those Indians did was admit - from within India after the release - that they were involved in spying. Kashmir Singh one of the examples. As per your logic, they would have never released him since he wasn't a diplomat.

You need to get out of your bubble and stop applying your own personal logic to situations that are infinitely more complicated. This is not something you can imagine in your head and then come up with conclusions, simply because you have very little information that you are working with. Of course I don't really care what you think, as whatever is discussed on the internet is largely inconsequential.

These embassy folks were engaged in acts of terror. Not espionage, which is a different thing all together. Nevertheless, being Indian diplomats, I'm presuming they were under constant surveillance by counter-intelligence agents. There every move recorded. If they did engage in acts of terrorism, why expel them now?

Because they are useless anymore and helped a lot to provide the chain of contacts hence expel them due to immunity under the consulate law.
