First of all keep your fallacies with you. The DEBT is because of the establishment expenditures, reduce them, Pakistan's economy will OK. AND if there were debts there was progress.
Yes The same man who brought law and order that was destroyed by unruly establishment since 1987; the same man who resolved Pakistan energy crisis. The same who improved Pakistan's connectivity and communication and built infrastructure.
AND REMEMBER MILITARY DIDN"T bring him in. Only Zaul Haq did and he also brought many other people. NS had guts from there to over come every obstacle, make Pakistan successful and the military got depressed from his success.
I am not going to answer. It's only for your own self.
1..
Peace was brought by sacrifices by army and not by nawaz... Rather he was one of the most expensive ruler of the country. During his tenure austerity was a mere slogan.
2...
What solution to energy crises?
Energy crises required 3 things which were not done a) long distance transmission lines b) water reservoirs / dams c) after a few initial plants on fixed price competitive bidding to keep the cost of production down.
3..
He took loans for idiotic projects which were not required at this point in time but were needed may be 10 yrs later.. e. g. The loans for orange line and motorways should have been spent on hospitals, universities and railway network.
4..
He did nothing on structural reforms for institutions like MOH, Nadra, FBR, NAB, nacta, export oriented industries and on energy policies etc...
5...
Our minerals and precious metals industry, oil and gas exploration and agriculture related industry have all been pathetic since last few decades.
6...
No concentrated efforts were made to privatize or revive sick units. Merely lip service was done
7..
Had it not been the defence expenditure then our thunders or mirages would have been downed in IOK and we wud be in the muck like india... Point is either become bhuttan or let the money flow. Corruption happens everywhere be it pakistan, ksa or usa or japan. Army is also corrupt but not to the extent rest of the organizations or industries are..
PLEASE NOTE.. I HAVE NOT PRAISED ANY OTHER PARTY.. PTI OR PPP
The areas where pmln was gud was...
Punjab rural road program,
Punjab food authority...
further improved 1122,
started public trabsport like green line and other metros which are gr8 for poor people... though i do not like their funding or running plan..
He spent funds on 2 or 3 cities to give them a better look but at the cost of rest of punjab province..
He built RLNG plants and coal plant in sahiwal.... Near areas of demand... but this especially sahiwal plant will lead to ill health effects over time rather 2 smaller mix coal plants (salt mine olus imported coal) in potohar region would have been better...
He started CPEC though the priority list if projects was biased and wrong
He gave laptops to toppers.. Gud decision.. Should be followed up by sending gud graduates abroad for higher studies.
In short, i think pmln has been way better than pppp but they initiated peojects which were wrong, not required now as they provided short term relief or benefit.
Exports, emoloyement generation, health and education reforms are what we need the most. They will benefit us for decades if not more
