I am not ignoring it, you are ignoring the bigger threat this is one off incident and it should be condemned, majority of urban indians know our diversity and respect and accommodate people from other parts of country. But this media hype is not good as this make NE brothers more alienated.
The threat to civilized society comes from muslims who thinks that everything non muslim is fair game and under their dominion, and no media reports this, have you ever thought why?
Do you know how many hindu girls were abducted and raped by these muslim goons in UP alone, there was a case in bihar where one women was stoned to death according to the sahria law but you wont see any news.

Common story in entire India. Police stations have to show a record at the end of the year of how many crimes were committed in their zone. News where police stations would argue with each other about whose jurisdiction the case would fall in and where they would avoid registering even murder cases are not so uncommon. It is really shameful, a product of inefficient, corrupt and outdated system.

Should'nt it be the other way around ? A successful investigation would show the efficiency of the police
