Chinese hypersonic nuclear aircraft ‘creates stunning plumes of light over Beijing during secret test flight’

Speculation is growing that the bizarre light show was the testing of a new generation bomber that can zip around targets in Earth in a fraction of the time it takes current warplanes

THIS spectacular footage appears to show the Chinese military testing a top secret hypersonic nuclear strike aircraft.

The strange skyward spectacle was visible in the capital Beijing as well as in the northern regions of Inner Mongolia and Shaanxi province.

People recorded videos showing the bright white plumes in the sky which bear similarities to SpaceX’s recent Falcon 9 launch.

While officials in China have yet to confirm the latest round of testing, Chinese military bloggers claim the eerie phenomenon was caused by the hypersonic glide vehicle known as DF-ZF.

The aircraft was codenamed “WU-14” by the Pentagon until China's Ministry of National Defence unveiled its name in 2014.

The aircraft has since been tested at least seven times before the the latest sightings on Thursday.

Heavenly sight... the craft twisted and turned with many on the ground thinking they were seeing some sort of apparition or UFO

Previously all DF-ZF’s test launches have all been from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Centre in North China’s Shanxi province.

And because no other satellite launches were reported on the day - the sightings seem to corroborate suggestions that it was indeed the glider’s eighth flight test to date.

The DZ-ZF - capable of speeds between Mach 5 and Mach 10 (3,836 mph) and Mach 10 (7,680 mph) - is said to be scheduled for operation by 2020.

Testing a nuclear missile over Beijing? The PLA has either humor or runs amok.

. .
Is there anything to do with Vietnam

Come on, who in the world tests a nuclear missile over a major population center, even in the capital?have you read it: Beijing. Only nuts! If I was Xi Jinping, I would slap the dumb heads in the PLA as traitors.

Why are you so angry?
Is your life not happy enough?
Poor Vietnamese
Nonsense. I am not angry.you can do what you like. Just pointing out a difference between our nations. We test missiles too but never near major population center.

It could be seen from inner Mongolia so the altitude was really high up. Unlike little Vietnam, China is a vast country so there is plenty of open space to test.

If you don't move forwards the rest of the world will. The fear of the other has always driven the hoarding of wealth and the development of weapons. Anyone who stopped, suffered.
world should move forward in positive things.

Japan is not a minion. Japan is a nation that was pacified whose pacification was taken advantage of by China. China used that pacification, and the US's distraction in the ME to make giant islands in the South China Sea and put giant airbases on them, one of which is within the EEZ of the Philippines and very far from the EEZ of China. And China has been intruding into Japan's territorial waters around the Senkaku islands. So no, Japan does not have to be a minion in order to stand up to China for the sake of Japanese interests to ensure the interests of other ASEAN countries is protected in the SCS area and Japan's own interests in its own territorial waters.

Japan's apology is unparalleled precious.
China used that JP?:crazy: It is Japan that is making use of China's "poverty and weakness".
