Agreed. Certainly can't become superpower untill faults within are removed.

while i agree to the general sentiment of your post, i disagree that india or anyone should desire to become a "superpower"... such a concept is from the cold war and the imperialist tendencies of history... humanity is one and therefore there should be a single socialist humanity and in context of india, the goal should be a united south asian under socialism.
