Analyses of the Samurai Culture of Japan : Historical Based Discourse

Samurai culture looks like Jihadi culture at least what is stated in books

Jihad is a "golden virtue" of Muslims but a forgotten one at same time with lot of similarities with Samurai culture

I. Rectitude or Justice

rectitude.jpg

Jihadi warrior determines if injustice is being done against Muslim community or people and then he takes it upon himself to correct the problem

II. Courage

ii_courage.jpg

We all know Jihadi take on technology and mechanical superior foe , no lack of courage in Islamic warriors

There are also stories of warriors burning down ships so they would not have to take the voyage home from battle

III. Benevolence or Mercy

iii_benevolence.jpg

Islamic warriors that follow the code of Islam are thought to forgive residents of occupied regions in war and free any slaves

Infact its well known fact muslims gave their subjects , high rank position in Ottoman era

IV. Politeness

Traditionally the Islamic warriors are known to be quite polite vs enemy generals in traditional warfare and trying to find all possible avenues of diverting war

V. Honesty and Sincerity

Islamic warriors are also not enticed by Money , rather they are fighting for ideology and reason , they can't be bought with money

VI. Honor

vi_honor.jpg

Same code practiced by Islamic warriors , they would bear the sword as last resort and bear as much none sense as possible before lifting arms , infact its stated Islamic warrior must never lift the sword first it only has to be lifted in self defense

The story of Salah Ud din , is very famous how he protected Palestine after conquering it and provided safety to all residents

VII. Loyalty

vii_loyalty.jpg

Islamic warriors loyalty lies with the head of Islamic state, again very loyal folks
there is no Islamic state present in world today - a key point

There is a very popular story of Khalid Ibn Al Walid a conquering general , when the head of Islamic empire asked him to step down , he did so with out a fuss, he could have retaliated against his head of state but the warrior respected the command and stepped down

VIII. Character and Self-Control

Islamic warriors of old were known to show self control over things like wine and abuse of power, mass killing in cities after conquest as done by Crusaders

“Musashi Miyamoto”, the most strongest samurai in Japanese history, his first duel was at age of 13.

Miyamoto Musashi is a samurai who was strongest in the history of Japan.
He didn’t prefers to belonging to the army and fight for generals, but prefers to exert his skills for himself.Musashi started a sword duel at the age of 13 until 29, and astonishingly, he had been unbeaten more than 60 battles. These two battles are famous: Musashi beats legendary samurai “Kojiro Sasaki” on a deserted island called “Ganryujima”, and destroyed famous samurai clan in Kyoto “Yoshioka Family” only by himself.
He devised a new sword fight style called “Niten-ichi-ryu” which use two swords that hold large sword on right hand, hold small sword on left hand.
It is said that Musashi produced a distinctive interval of two swords-wielding in order to aim his enemy into his reach, then attack in the face surely.

In addition, he also manipulated a large wooden sword.

After the retirement from the front lines of sword duel, he spent rest of his life quietly.
For example, raw ink painting and written a book muffled in a cave.
