America's forum logo change?

Since there are many countries in the 'Americas', and not just 'America', why not have a logo that is similar to that of Europe & Russia section? Isn't that simpler and perhaps less controversial?

I think you are correct. It is the forum for all the Americas, so I would suggest either a hemispheric map...

Or an "old school" version.

Or maybe the flag of the Organization of American States.
