The only thing that brought them down was shit phones and a terrible OS, nothing wrong with competition. Are people further east afraid of competition or they like everything the same.

Nokia missed the chance when building smart phones. its what brought them down. had they tied up with Google or MS earlier they would not have suffered.

new nokia phones are running on windows 8 (not my favourite but its OKAY)....for those well adapted to it, its not bad

i had a nokia lumia and the one thing i liked was fully customizable menus and the camera lenses/photo quality are superb.....WORST thing about windows/nokia -- the application support is absolute garbage. I like Instagram a lot and had to download 2 different apps just to view or upload

as i said earlier, i think nokia will make a comeback but in terms of market share % Apple and Droid take the cake ...fierce competition

Why blame Apple if you cannot innovate........ 5 years back, during a brand survey in india, Nokia ranked the highest across products, across brands (from tooth brush to cars)....They had a market share of 70%....... Now they are wiped out from market because they did not think beyond 2 years....... They did not adapt to new changes.......

You're right. They deliberately set it up to make tons of money, which it did. Competition by its nature is predatory. It's not a competition if there isn't the potential for someone to lose.

iPhone is shitty mobile phone. Nokia is still better. I am okay with Windows OS. For last 2 years, they are doing great. Nokia is still choice of a huge number of people in Pakistan. But Chinese phones and Qmobile is getting more market share.

I am somewhat of a gadget freak so i did buy a lumia , was surprised that the Nokia store did not have whats app. that kind of killed my interest in the phone. though i must admit the camera was the best out there.

I dont dislike any nokias, nice phones still but they really cant compete across the spectrum. The moto g is the best budget phone by some distance, lumia has similar priced phones but they really are poor performance wise.

Few months ago I bought one 'Nokia Asha 503'.......I hate it to the core.......I pledged not to buy a Nokia phone again in my life...
