no they will come to table if you keep ignoring them...I would have loved If no one, not even a single newspaper, TV channel had written articles and ran TV debates on Trump Tweets...and none in Pak govt had made any reference to his tweet or replied to it....imagine what kind of insult would that be

pakistan is not bother at all. Pickup threads from last 6month in which pkistan kept saying we dont need us aid money. Its them who tried to start worried. There is nothing more.they can do except cut the aid which didnt wok for them now so they cant ask anything else.

Thant could be a way, but i do not think International relations and so called Diplomacy works by simply ignoring threats. I could be wrong again.

No matter how much I desire for these Pakistani leaders to respond in harsh words, the fact is that it is better to act rational. The main objective for the leadership here is to navigate through these reckless high tides. As long as they are not undermining or bowing to illegitimate demands, everything is fine.

Guys , Pak-US relation going nowhere. It's only Trump factor and Indian lobby around Trump. Pakistan played very active role to promote US policy in and round the world for last 54 years. US is not in capacity to ditch a tested alley over night for India.

Play good cop bad cop with the Americans. Pak military should come out swinging with the harshest possible language but mostly against Trump. Call him a senile, unfit to rule mentally disturbed person.

But the civilian side should play a more cautious role. Speak in calm and collective manner to the Americans and suggest a diplomatic solution.

Rest is all your assumptions. I have few "white" friends here in US, 2 of them in US reserves too. I don't see them any different than any normal Pakistani or any human. Govts work for the interests of countries and cannot be compared with individuals, it's a prime example of comparing apples and oranges.

Cutting off aid to Pakistan is just the tip of the iceberg. US knows Pakistan can do without the aid. More pressure is coming in other forms. This is just the beginning.

I think Pakistani govt's response is very calculated. It could be a little better but they are doing fine.
