It’s not for show. Started planning six months ago. I have a lot of assets and responsibilities so it will take a few years but there is no doubt that I won’t be spending the rest of my life in a society that is quickly collapsing into utter chaos. The events of the last few weeks have only strengthened my resolve. Once pandemic restrictions are lifted, I have a trip planned to Asia and I will look at real estate there.

China is awesome. Been there many times and I wouldn’t mind living there. If you are basing your idea about China based on western news, im sorry to say you don’t have a clue about it.

But my family is not from the mainland so I am going where I have a network. And nope, Asia is the future actually. The US is falling behind in so many aspects and now the law and order is just breaking down. I love this country but it’s political class are parasites and it’s system is dysfunctional and falling apart. This will only become more apparent in the future. I am not raising my family here, the future is somewhere else.

Constant surveillance....everything is electronic (thus can be easily blocked by the State) and you can't even own land. It's a sick place to live in, especially the big cities with all the smog etc.

Depends on when they went. They’ve improved a lot about the pollution and the surveillance has basically eradicated crime.I’d prefer that over the shit that’s been happening in the US lately.
