^ At 38:45 min in the video. They are saying that GoP needs permission and approval from the court to collect tax from the consumers of telecommunication. This is great system.

In Bangladesh, our govt does not care anyone. Never asks court if it can increase tax or not. They do whatever they want.

I have seen your answers, they were few links boasting how the entire world is dying to strengthen bilateral relations with Pakistan, just another typical Pakistani reply.

Why don't you go through my comment on the future of Pakistan economy and counter it with proper logic and by showing efforts of Pakistani policy makers on how they will face the challenges? Those XYZ indexes are irrelevant here, not to mention dozens of other such indexes could be shown where Bangladesh trumps Pakistan by far.

As for Bangladeshi economy, the main challenge we are facing is the lack of diversity in the export basket. To that effort, policies are being formulated for new industries (electronics, shipbuilding, pharmaceuticals, ICT, petrochemical, automobile) and a target has been set to establish 100 SEZs by 2030.

And some of these SEZ's (major ones) are more than halfway completed. There is no time to waste.

Yeah I am sorry, but you are actually retarded.

Most Bengali I know secretly speak Urdu, so you won't have any trouble understanding what the FINANCE MINISTER is saying

You asked what we are doing, where is the finance minister telling you what we are doing.

Again, feel embarrassed for you, you have completely humiliated yourself.

Facts, buddy, facts. No one is having a Ghairatmand conversation here. Food in the belly is better than this old-fashioned shame and humiliation crap.

Counter argument with a reasoned argument. Everyone can call each other names like retard, no problem there.

You asked what our plan was, I showed you, then you started spazzing like a retard.

He just posted a 1 hour long press conference without showing any facts and went away claiming to have humiliated me.

Anyways, he seems to be at least better than the rest of the delusional Pakistani folks here which is why I chose to ignore.

Well every person has their moments, better or worse. Contrary to my shameful proclamations, I pretty much suck at Urdu or Hindi, so I could not get much from the press conference.

Did the guy set out concrete plan of actions/goals and how to achieve them?

Years and years of keeping people out of the role of decision-making is a bad precedent, as shown here. Which actually describes the leadership in all three of the large South Asian countries. The dumber the populace, the easier for the ruling feudal class to control the hapless have-nots.

I didn't check out the video, one hour is too long for me to waste.

I believe the control of feudal class is much more stronger in Pakistan than the rest of South Asia. Their economy is still quite influenced by that famous 22 business families. You will hardly find stories about somebody rising from the roots in Pakistan while there are plenty of such cases in the rest of South Asia.

Also, I find common Pakistanis to be more easily manipulated than others, I mean in Bangladesh you would find people to be far more politically conscious. This eventually results in them being unaware of the country's true situation. That's perhaps part of the strategy of what they call the 'Deep State' or 'Establishment'.

I was discussing about the future Pakistan's economy which looks to be more like a peripheral subordinate to the Chinese economy while China takes control of their industrial and infrastructural assets. It would be interesting to know what would be their relation with the feudal class of Pakistan. May be they have similar arrangements to what British the British had with the local zamindars.

Yup agreed on all points. :-)

Feudalism was in most cases an adjunct to and in some areas a complete replacement of 'the law'. Religious and tribal establishments (and sardars/tribal elders) pre-dated English common law legal structure and semi-educated people dictated things by 'saalish' and 'sifarish' (shuparish in Bengali). Things like cousin-marriage and honor killings are still considered legal and kosher in Pakistan, especially rural areas. Police are powerless against such mediaeval practices.

Although I am a frequent visitor, I can't by any means claim to be an 'insider' in Pakistan. Feudalism was the root culture in Pakistan and to some extent North India as well, yes much more so than in Eastern or Southern India where democratic equality for all classes is more the norm, especially for educated Muslims. Can't speak for Hindu society.

Maybe one of the Pakistani brothers (hopefully not a troll) here can comment....

wtf are you talking about?

There was no 'plan' per se in that video. I couldn't make out all the tougher Urdu talk, but there was no concrete 'plan'. Is Jawad Sohrab going to save Pakistan? I am confused. All the links you provided talk about MOU's and 'promises' of investments. CPEC is going to benefit the silk road areas in China more than it will Pakistan (in any degree). Maybe you know something I don't.

Is talking with 'Gaali' the average training when growing up in a Pakistani family? When all you offer is verbal abuse, your 'khandaan' and 'Muslimaat' (or rather, lack of them) becomes evident.

Every abusive post is being reported to the Mods by the way.....

Hey, remember how 6 months after 71 Bangladesh become a 1st world country and is now a supa dupa pawa?

You are seriously being really stupid right now.

Imran Khan has been in power for about 6 months now, they are laying down the plan as we speak with MOUs and "promises" and in the next 5 years they will be working on.

That is now the real world works, first you make plans then you do them.

If you don't first make plans, you end up having your factories and building constantly catch on fire.......:azn:

Jabs and stabs notwithstanding, gotta start somewhere I guess.

Better late than never....

So the lawyers movement that toppled musharrf was just a fairy tale?

You assessment is based on your hatred.
Real answer is that Bhutto privatized the economy in the 70s and destroyed it's future.

PS. How great is your democracy when would news organizations are asking if Bangladesh is a one party state.
i assume you meant "nationalized" instead of privatized

Says the guy who doesn't know what planning means.

Anyways, we are already beating Bangladesh in most metrics. 5 years of focusing on our ecconomy and we will ahead there as well.

Yes, stupid autocorrect.
