Altaf demands ‘public referendum’ on Rangers operation!

Gher to sara ganda hai, to ek kamre pe kyun rukey hain?

yeap. a self exiled person will never have faith in Pakistan.

Sorry to see your comment.

Terrible.

I had a good impression of yours and this post of yours took me by surprise.

You don't even realize how feel here.

FATA has improved.
Balochistan is completely changing for positive
and Karachi is Bori-less thanks to locking up goons.

And you say sara ghar ganda hai.

Strange.

Karachi Problem is Administrative not Political so if Establishment try to make it more complex by making it Political there would be Resistance. It was under MQM when Karachi was developing last time I checked and Law and order situation was also quite peaceful.

Yes do it Karachi wide as Karachi is the place where MQM Operates not Punjab or KPK

Ordinary Pakistanis are quite dumb to buy everything that Establishment sell them but Karachiite are not like that they discuss MERIT of everything that Establishment try to sell.

Sorry MQM can not claim Karachi prospered under their rule since they have kicked out and disowned Mustafa Kamal. It was Mustafa kamal and his team efforts not of MQM.

. . .
MQM isnt Anti Pakistan either but they dont trust Establishment with everything like rest of Pakistan does and that is Establishment is against them because they cant Buy them like the way they can buy PTI and PMLN.
Mqm was a product of zia's anti PPP campaign in Sindh. And later strengthened by Musharraf. So when you say mqm does not buy what establishment sells, your making fun of your own self.

Well army will have to listen, as simple as that. Army eat from Pak people taxes and Karachi provide 20% of Pakistan revenue. :-)
Chalo let me clear this up now, Karachi has the stock exchange, similar to the Islamabad or Lahore stock exchange. Most taxes are collected through this. Also Sindh has a deficit budget, which means that it is spending more then it is making. Whatever your logic of 20 percent is, taxes paid are spent in Karachi. With the law and order in Karachi we have suffered more as a nation, this fat demented piece of lard and his calls for strikes are the reason we have stunted ourselves. This Karachi is where you go and look at grocery stores with bars like jails, where you go to an area and feel unsafe, where mobiles are not bought because they would be stolen.
I have it on very good authority from Karachi what the mood is. I have my sources dear...
You are arguing with a troll sir, do not waste your time on this, rather do something constructive like your older threads.
The walking pile of fat will soon be behind bars, I pity those who have to hear him rant there.

Sure its about time that a check & balance be established on rangers activities inkarachi & Sindhi so the peoples , won't be looking at it, as the gods army ?
If rangers are doing right & they don't have any political hidden agenda then they should wellcome the decesions by the elected mandate of Pakistan & Sindhi & Karachi ?

.
This guy needs a bashing from rangers ab jab teri auqat khul gaye ha tu namona kar raha ha

people of karachi are sick and tired of this murder and mayhem over the years they are seeing some peace after a log time .. so even if a referendum is conducted MQM will loose in my opinion.. however i could be wrong .. MQM is a reality and represent sentiments of karachietes if not respected it will only create more more uncertainty and temporary solutions .. Wish to see both Army and MQM working with each other

Qadianism is a cult. I am not against their religious practices or whatever they did for Pakistan though. It doesn't change the fact that they are a cult.

What if people start calling your sect or religion a cult ? i am sure it make you feel very good .. i think one should keep opinions about other religions or sects in our pocket ... in my opinion practicing that will reduce militancy to half in this country

Most of famous Pakistani political leaders were at some point were exiled leaders ?
& one of them is our dear PM ?
No one can change any facts that altar Hussain &his political party has the mandate of the peoples of Karachi so does has the right to demand a political check & balance on a federal force & its actions?
Maybe this will , bring more clear needed image of rangers to the peoples of Karachi which can bring more trust of their actions ?
Be positive & be not a biasd peagon which can't see a cat?

I was saying that out from an objective point of view. You are free to disagree. :D

. . .
I will never settle down. Good luck if you believe Rangers will return back to their barracks. Its a soft coup going on :D
I dont want Rangers in Barracks either I want them to Practice what they actually Preach i.e. "Across the Board Action".:enjoy:

Failed? Crime rate has gone down significantly, thanks to arrests of MQM criminals :D
Crime Rate is going down because they arent get reported more often that is why. During Iftar timings Mobile Snatching has already gone high these days.

Not only against MQM but anyone working against the interests of the country be it in the name of religion, ethnicity or politics..They didn't give sacrifices of their 15000 soldiers and officers for nothing but to protect it
So who would decide that certain Group is working against Pakistan and certain group is not????Agencies on the basis of Suspicions or Courts on the basis of Proofs???

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Wednesday demanded that a ‘public referendum’ be held on the ongoing Rangers operation in Karachi, Express News reported.

Speaking to the media over the phone from his residence in London, Altaf said that it is crucial that a referendum be held to take public sentiments into account.

The MQM chief advised that a five-member committee be constituted, comprising Supreme Court and High Court judges, to organise the referendum.

Altaf’s statements come after the recent debacle the federal and Sindh governments seem to be involved in after the provincial chief executive hinted at withdrawing policing powers from the paramilitary Rangers force, which has been deployed in Karachi since the 90s.

On Tuesday, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah claimed that under the 18th constitutional amendment, the provincial government was bound to seek the legislative assembly’s approval before allowing Rangers to continue working under extended powers.

The statement comes in the wake of recent raids by Rangers at offices of different provincial government departments that have upset the political stakeholders. Four months ago, the paramilitary force was given special powers to detain suspects for 90 days. The permission expires today (Wednesday).

“There is a bottleneck in giving them extension in special powers to deal with terrorism,” he told reporters.

Following this, the MQM announced staging sit-ins outside the CM House against the ‘atrocities’ of Rangers.

In his address to party office-bearers on Tuesday, the MQM leader called upon the chief minister and the parliamentarians to table a bill in the Sindh Assembly for sending Rangers back to the borders.

He lamented that neither the chief minister nor the judiciary had taken notice of the Rangers’ allegations. “If the courts were independent, then action against Rangers for arresting men illegally would have been taken,” he said.

Just when I thought Altaf could sink no lower, I get this. He never demanded any referendum when MQM invited known criminals to join its ranks. Now when PakArmy's rangers are going against these criminal elements, he wants a referendum. :sarcastic:

Why not hold referendum to hang Tafu mota with the highest pole in the city.
