Chinese central government allocated 465 million Yuan and Xinjiang local government 100 million Yuan to have had all kids living in poor underdeveloped far western regions in Xinjiang covered by nutrition meals program ( balanced nutrition meals must contain meat, milk, eggs, vegetables etc) . The kids in those regions have already long enjoyed free education to high school and all other benefits such as free books , accommodation , All the cost is paid by the government.

Russia actually is a very important player in East Asian affairs, see its land disputes with Japan and regularly flies bombers around Japan and its role in North Korea, in a sense it is part of East Asia.

Good policy by Chinese govt..Although I have political difference with Chinese govt style,but this is need of hour in Kasmir and other Muslim regions of India.We have to stop thesebackward madrasa and bring the Muslim kids to mainstream and modern education n sport.Hope our govt will show some courage and implement such measures.

Stop comparing Kashmir to Xinjiang all the time! I bet it's offensive to both Uighurs and Chinese.

Xinjiang Muslims are one of the safest Muslim communities in the world, far away from all conflict zones and well taken care of by their government.

Kashmir is totally opposite - the least safest and most persecuted Muslims in the world, poorer than Palestinians and more vulnerable than Rohingyas.

An Indian police could literally barge into a Kashmiri home, rape the women, take away the men (to return as corpses) and be absolutely immune from prosecution!!

Since when this site becomes a reliable source and everyone can go ahead and edit it. Xinjiang is very safe and tourism is booming there. people by and large live a peaceful and prosperous life there, can I say that about India controlled Kashmir?
