All American Muslims Better Get Ready for a New Reality

I agree with you, but in actuality the show is not meant to truly represent Islam. It's there to showcase Americanized Arab "Muslims" and that too them being Lebanese, indeed the righteous of the Muslims. The primary objective of the show is to calm American nerves and to project this idea "American Muslims" have many similarities to other Americans, trying to humanize them. So they find a family living the American way fathers a football coach, speak unaccented English, etc the show serves its purpose. I haven't seen the program but have heard about it.

So its basically to spread falsehood by showing humane side of a tiny minority, whose values most muslims frown upon. But just so that americans dont hate muslims, they would pretend for now, we all are like this.
