Best of luck but I don’t think military has shown intelligence before giving the statement. Even beside the Israeli surveillance equipment Army has many things to answer specially the issues raised in the Al Jazeera report.

Why do you act like there's some grand conspiracy against Bangladesh? You don't need to worry, India isn't going to annex Bangladesh. The current government is very racist and xenophobic, they are already scared of a few Bangladeshis that India has, they don't want to have any more. And Bangladesh is already a dictatorship of Hasina, army already rigging the election in her favour. But be rest assured, no one wants to destabilise Bangladesh. The current dispensation is already pretty good for all parties: QUAD and China. Hasina seems to be smart and knows how to balance things. Al Jazeera's investigation is exposing corruption that everyone already knew about, they are just presenting proof of things. You're basically implying that Al Jazeera on the behest of US block is doing propaganda. US in this region is the "Indo Pacific strategy" and QUAD which include India. It’s not just dog barking issue but issue on national security.

1. How Army and any of of its intelligence unit could not determine army chief is under surveillance for two long years?

2. How the brothers of army chief coming and going out of Bangladesh who are in wanted list of Interpol and attended event along with President? Didn’t Army knew anything of it or they turned a blind eye? If so who is responsible for it?

3. Didn’t army not aware of Army chief’s brothers using of fake identity specially when number of army official as shown in the documentary assisted to obtain it?

4. Didn’t army knew nothing about the army chief’s involvement into this or big wealth accumulated by his family members?

5. Who instructed to issue the statement the surveillance equipment was for UN peace keeping mission?

6. Did really army knew nothing about the Israeli origin of the surveillance system when it’s clearly written in the document it’s from PicSix? Even a simple google search PicSix Israel shows it’s origin.

7. Why Bangladesh army violated the policy of not to purchase anything from Israel and further violation done by hiding source of origin?

Even if assume Army didn’t know (but unlikely as Army officials were trained by Israeli intelligence and photo proof is there), how procurement of such sensitive equipment is done by Bangladesh Army? It is for spying on the opposition, plain and simple.

The software needs a hardware component (also supplied) which acts as a cell tower offering handshake connections to any cellphone within range.

Once connections are established, all cellphone communication can be intercepted. Data mining is used to target specific IMEI numbers (globally unique number for each cellphone hardware, google it) which references specific cellphones belonging to specific individuals.

All IMEI numbers in Bangladesh have to be legally registered to a specific person.

They have this in place in India as well as Pakistan, too (the spying software). It's just that no one will talk about it.
