Looks like su27/j16 are too much for Ski jump carrier and may be Chinese navy may be interested in carrier version and perhaps plaaf too to supplement j20 per some of the articles published, time will tell

Depends on the progress of J-31 program.
PLAN likes big guy and Ski jump carrier is just a transition.
The next carrier of PLAN will be of catapult launch.

On the aircraft carrier beside that there next move will be either folding wings for

Dude, the thing India will have when we have our JF-17 block 3 are rafales. I heard today that India is negotiation for more rafales. The question is will JF-17 block 3 stand in front of rafale with all these new features?

In some aspect it might stand tall but in other aspect it will not ... in dog fight blk3 will be at disadvantage but in air defense interceptor role thuder could be deadly ... with support from awacs and link 17 small thunder cana turn off radar and switch to other sensors and link17 will certainly give him advantage ...

Likewise it also depand on which bvr missiles will be available for blk3 ...

italy has about 24 fighters in storage that were offered to Romania at cost of 1.2 Billion dollars with training

pakistan should be able to convince them if they opt for mix of old and new fighters

Could be an option and $50 mn with training for each jet is affordable but there is no news about it yet. When PAF presented documents in senate they were going to order 40 new Su-35 or Eurofighter Typhoon which shocked me since I had no idea how PAF will arrange funds for it.
