After the Karachi attacks....

ISIL advances on Syria's ancient city of Palmyra - Al Jazeera English

Another update. More IS gains mean more potential terrorists and training camps to be set up. This a ticking time bomb. Eventually, terrorists will be leaving the Middle East to come to Pakistan and reinforce the Arabs, Uzbeks and Afghans operating in the country right now.
My only hope is that capable people are taking care of undoing overcoming this mess. It is a complex situation full of Siyasi Maslehatain and shit. I once accidentally went inside a Sipah E Sahaba mosque for Juma prayers and believe me what I heard and saw was too much for me to handle, on top of that an Agh Khani friend of mine was waiting outside the mosque for me, I had left him there to wait for me (may nay namaz kya parhni thi mujay uss ki fiker lagi hui thi kay kahi kuch keh he na day kissi say apny bary may).

I would say TTP is a criminal organisation rather than a religious one, it does not have any agenda except money making, every mochi, barber, charsi, bus conductor is a commander in their ranks. Sale of suicide bombers, kidnapping, bhata khori and foreign funding to do others work is more of what they are interested in. There are many stories of how people were deceived into fighting a Jihad with US and Nato in Afghanistan and how they ended up attacking Pakistani posts. Same goes for sectarian outfits, brainwash people use them, become powerful, threatening and live a comfortable life.

Information needs to be made public, there should not be anything secret (except for utmost national security) from people who are getting killed. Namaloom afrad is no more an acceptable excuse.

In the top order, it is certainly just a criminal organisation. They are involved in extortion, drug-dealing, smuggling, human-trafficking, and have connections with landlords, mafia etc.

After the Karachi attacks, it is clear that IS is itching to bring the fight from Iraq and Syria to Pakistan and Afghanistan. Nevertheless, we still treat what is going on in the Middle East right now as something which is isolated from us.

It was the Afghan war which gave birth to the global Islamist movement, with thousands of recruits from across the Muslim world arriving to fight against the Soviet Union. With the Soviet departure and the fall of Najibullah's, where did al those militants go? Checynya, Bosnia, Kashmir, Egypt, Sudan, and other hotspots in the world. Will Syria and Iraq be any different? When the Iraqi government falls, IS will focus on exporting its Jihadis across the world, and Afghanistan/Pakistan will definitely be a prospective place to revive the militancy.

With the events in the past in mind, if Pakistan doesn't take an active stance in crushing IS, one way or another, we will be suffering in the long run.
There are no proofs of ISIS being present or behind that attack, its name was used to misguide investigation.

It was either IS or IS-inspired group (Taliban splinter groups). People using MQM, RAW, etc's name are misguiding the investigation.

No proof of ISIS or any splinter group. For your information one MQM target killer who was arrested few months ago even told that its MQM who was doing wall chalking in the name of Daesh in Karachi.

Propaganda? Even investigators are claiming there is high possibility that IS is involved. Not your demonic MQM who has become the new Mossad of Pakistan.

It was a high possibility but now it has come clean.

No investigator is claiming that in fact they all have rejected this completely.

ISIS is an extreme right wing nationalist Arab group. They have no dealings in South Asia and never will.

And certainly no investigator claiming it is MQM. It was so implausible they didn't even consider it.

Is this why they already have recruits and supporters operating in Africa, Europe, and the US? When Iraq and Syria is theirs, they will come for us. To them, we're just another lost Muslim land waiting to be reconquered under the new caliphate. Already, they've carried out a suicide attack in Afghanistan.

Majority of people they have attracted are arabic speakers. There are reports when non arabic speakers arrive they are cast away because they don't speak the language. The morons who traveled there obviously didn't check tripadvisor first.

It doesn't translate well into other regions as a result. You need to relax, ISIS is just a construct. Its a group of mercenaries on a payroll. Thats why Israel isn't attacked, or Turkey, Or Saudi, or Gulf or India.

Pakistan just needs to worry about India and MQM. These are 2 main headaches at the moment.

But they launched an attack in France and USA. Why is that if they're mercenaries on a payroll? How can they not be a problem for us when already splinter groups in the Taliban associated themselves with it? Do you really think when IS takes over all of Iraq and Syria it will sit tight when it's already declared half of the world as one of its targets? Whenever a group like IS has managed to take a control of an area, they turn it to a terrorist breeding ground and accept all sorts of militants and fighters. You cannot deny this because this happened in Afghanistan and is already happening in Iraq and Syria where there are terrorist camps.

2 main headaches? Are you kidding me? What happened to Taliban? Jundullah? Lashkar-e-Jhangvi?

. . .
Shiites.

Shouldn't be used, it offends many.
Ohhhhhhhhh that term used to be rafidains, or atleast this is what i had known. It was written in some attachment so i asked, thnx
