Wow wow stop right there. We dont call our nation HINDUSTAN...it was before 1947 and those days are over my friend. Its either Bharat or India. Just because 80% are Hindus doesnt mean India is Hindu country if u think so that is ur bottle-neck mentality, and we cant help u there.:disagree:. China has more buddhists than muslims and I havent seen any pakistani calling China as a Bhuddist nation,why? coz it wont make sense for a guy with brain. I know its hard for some people to digest the concept of "Secular".

yeah I second that why to bring religion between us. Respect for all religion is a better religion.

The first Article of the Constitution of India states that "India, that is Bharat, shall be a union of states." Thus, India and Bharat are equally official short names for the Republic of India, while "Hindustan" is still widely used as an alternative name when Indians speak amongst themselves. "Hindustan" is also used in historical contexts (especially British India). Indians commonly refer to their country as Bharat, Hindustan or India depending on the context and language of conversation.

Pakistan can help Bangladesh by giving them our old SUBMARINES Dolphins class (when we will get the new German ones) and all our A5s and F-7 by 2015

Bangladeshi Army has just 180 Tanks (that's it) , We should give them our T-69s too.

As a brotherly nation, all for free.

Well process already started. I think bd possess more Tank than you mention however all of T59 being upgraded to Al-Zarrar....:smokin:

Al Zarrar Main Battle Tank

The Al Zarrar Main Battle Tank (MBT) is essentially an upgrade kit originally designed by the Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) to modernise and improve obsolete Type 59 Main Battle Tanks (MBTs).

Design

The upgrade kit consists of an estimated 54 modifications to the original Type 59 MBTs ensuring that the modernisation results in a cost effective, up to date, combat worthy tank with heavy firepower.

The main features of the modernised Al Zarrar MBT include:

* 125 mm smoothbore gun
* Semi-automatic loader
* Image stabilized fire control and improved gun control system
* Thermal Imaging (TI) for day/night combat
* Improved protection with explosive reactive armour and anti-mine protection
* 730 hp engine
* Improved transmission
* Improved suspension

Status

The Bangladesh Army Chief General Moeen U. Ahmed visited Pakistan on the 21st of October, 2008 to improve defence ties between the two neighbouring nations.

During the course of the official visit he proposed a joint venture between the two countries for modernising the large number of Type 59 MBTs remaining in service with the Bangladesh Army.

The Pakistani counterparts responded positively to the proposal and are in the process of transferring relevant technology to Bangladesh in this regard.

After the project is complete all Bangladesh Army Type 59 MBTs will be rebuilt as new Al Zarrar MBTs. The entire modernisation program will be done inside Bangladesh under this joint venture project at the Bangladesh Army's 902 Heavy Workshop, which is capable of building tanks, armoured vehicles and artillery systems.

Maybe because the Hindus embraced western knowledge and scientific advancement than the Muslims or the people living in those areas which are now in Pakistan.
correct me please,I think I could be totally wrong.

1. Making India a regional power is part of "New World Order".
2. West also wants Indian to neutralized China.
3. Never the less, Indian market is still not complete open to West where one billion people live.
4. India is the only country in world which gets $40 billion as remittances from abroad. That means Indians get jobs all over the world. UK Muslims are the most unemployed in UK and why? you ask your self.

Western knowledge and Scientific advancement is not for Muslims, try to take admission in nuclear sciences in any western university and you will know.

give me a chance, sorry if I am going off tropic, the constitution of India declare India to be sovereign socialist secular democratic republic, come on its only the name as preexisted from the colonial rule, what do you think Hundistani is the word applied only for the Hindus, sorry even I am not a Hindu either, Hindustaini doesn't mean any religion. It is an identity of being a citizen of India or Bharat or Hindustan. your quote defines its meaning itself, the English translation of ''Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani'' would be ''But the heart is still Indian'' and not hinduism, BTW this film is a good one not because it is high action drama but it brings unity into the hearts and mind of the people of India (not soley Hindu). we are proud to call ourselves Hundustani in Hindi or Indian in English and Bharataya not Bharatis. and it is by no mean implies only for Hindu population. Such names are based on historic reasons.

Also let me add that Pakistan has a strong Millitary therefore we can make independent decisions without Indian Interference.I believe we might actually recover economically.It was only during Musharraf era GDP growth rate was 7%!.Also we have much much less poverty then India which will also help us and smaller population.Pakistan IMHO has the potentional to have a strong economy with GDP of 700 Bil ~ 1.0 Trillion.However we need good economists for that (Which hopefully next Government will look into).

You just provide the answer to ur question mate.Lets read the words from wiki(which u provide me)...

"The first Article of the Constitution of India states that "India, that is Bharat, shall be a union of states." Thus, India and Bharat are equally official short names for the Republic of India, while "Hindustan" is still widely used as an alternative name when Indians speak amongst themselves."

Hindustan is a widely used alternate name which is actually came up with by Persians. just like u, they too called us by our religion. After a long period under their influence it virtually became a part of our daily life and we dont give any religious value what so ever. Like our constitution says, India and Bharat are the official short names of "Republic of India" NOT Hindustan. Our founding fathers pointed out that the name "Hindustan" is just an alternate name "when Indians speak amongst themselves". Did u notice the word "INDIANS SPEAK AMONG THEMSELVES". but when u call us Hindustan by looking at the statistics of 80% Hindu, its a whole new differnt story.

Just need to clear a few misconceptions here regarding the name Hindustan:

"Hindustan" (like the name India itself) is derived from the river "Indus". Hindustan is an ancient persian term which means "the land of the dwellers on Indus". Even the term Hindu (a persian term derived from the sanskrit term sindhu for river indus) comes from the same river name and means "the dweller on Indus".
The point is that it has nothing to do with religion, its a historical term. The name Hindu was used in ancient times for all the dwellers of Northern India.

Hindustan- "Historical term, usually applied to the Ganges Plain of North India, between the Himalayas in the north and the Deccan plateau in the south. Used variably throughout Indian history—generally in contradistinction to the Deccan of peninsular India—it gradually came to mean the whole of N India from the Punjab to Assam. The term Hindustan has also been applied to the whole Indian subcontinent."

I hope this settles the debate. Anyways, as already pointed out India is a secular country, so there is no point bringing the issue of the name time and again.
