AFTER AKSUNGUR and AKINCI what will change in our drone attack concepts.

AKSUNGUR and AKINCI are big uavs and their radar signatures are more than tb2 and anka. How can be the new concept?
My opinion sending tb2 ,anka and anka+ in front of akinci within the range of its bvr missiles to air coverege against enemy jets.
Anka+ May be the first one flying at high altitude and be the first one attacking to enemy SAMs.
Then tb2s and anka hits the important soft targets.
Aksungur and akinci hit hard targets.
May be akinci may use in different configurations like A2A and EW to support other uavs attacks.
F 16s and awacs support Uavs from the back side and dont take risks.
One important thing these uavs have enough range to attack targets like Lna in Libya and turn back to Turkey. It gives ability to attack long range targets in range of satellite communication with minimum risks.

Bigger or smaller, the radar signatures weren't the determining factor behind the recent successful SAM strikes. These systems were either blinded or caught off guard and the same tactic will be used for the bigger drones.

Being able to use A2A ammunition is a game changer for us though, we could have Akıncı patrols that would effectively halt enemy drones and even counter helicopters. Jets are another story though.

Apart from that, Akıncı could possibly be used to threaten naval assets as well, which is another huge differentiator to the battle.

Having a cheap asset that could threaten navies and hinder their mobility while also keeping enemy drones and helicopters at bay is astounding imo.

That is an interesting thought, I hadnt thought about it. Do we have any work going on on releasing alpagu’s from aerial platforms?

I wonder how the controls of such a concept would work. Would the alpagus be controlled through akinci or even by it? I think they would need some degree of autonomy too because controlling such a mess from afar will become problematic.

Since Libyan battleground is so hot nowadays I can’t help but think how radically Akinci will change it, if it were to be deployed there. We will be the first country to score an A2A shoot down from a drone in history (in actual battle, at least), and Wing Loongs will no longer be able to fly in West Libya safely. Its SEAD capabilities will be used against future air defence systems deployed in Libya. In a lot of ways we will deploy fighters to Libya without deploying fighters to Libya. Most of the advantages with very little burden and liabilities.

Plus, of course plausible deniability.

This is such a huge force multiplier and a strategic asset on the battlefield, I just hope they're working 2 shifts (24hours a day) so Turkey can realise this capability asap
