What's new

After AFGHANISTAN what next???

Whatever happens we have to remember that this is still a very fragile peace agreement. The US deep state, US installed Afghan government and India are not content with this peace deal.

Trump is at odds with deep state hawks in his own government. Fatty Pompeo doesn't want to sign the peace agreement. We have old doggy Mattis barking all over the place. These are all signs that the US is very divided on the Afghan peace deal.

Pakistan needs to be cautious. Trump approached Pakistan and we were willing to help him as much as we could. This doesn't mean everyone is happy with the peace negotiations. In fact it has a lot of opposition. Trump has a different approach on Afghanistan. He doesn't want to invest in a failed project whereas his predecessors were hand and glove with the deep state. The US deep state runs the show in opiumland and not Trump.

The best approach for Pakistan in my opinion would be to continue to aid Trump and watch how things evolve. We have to remember that Trump will be gone. The US deep state will always remain. The US deep state could eventually spoil the deal and we would be back to square one.

Pakistan's relations with the US deep state and by extension the US won't improve/stabilize. We have too many disagreements and our interests simply collide on every level. From nuclear weapons to the Afghan war. From our relationship with China to India. The US doesn't agree on any single point with Pakistan. Our main ally is China and will always be China. That is a fact written in stone.

Afghanistan is a failed US project that has impacted Pakistan adversely for decades. We need to reverse this trend by acknowledging the ground realities. After the peace agreement we need to swiftly do the following:

1. Repatriate Afghan refugees back to Afghanistan.
2. Close the border with Afghanistan and minimize/monitor movement in and out of Pakistan.
3. Focus on CPEC completion.
4. Invest in education and other important areas for the betterment of people of Pakistan.
5. Minimize relations with spoiler nations that have built spying embassies on our soil and pretend to be our friends. Yes, also the ones that beg for their INGOs to spy freely.
A good analysis. But, IMO the US Deep State is waning!!! The Deep Nation is getting stronger, and they won't elect the Deep State folks!!! Hopefully, the next President will be a tougher guy than Trump with much less baggage...

I don't think that was the only plane ever hijacked.
You know what dented the Indian interests the most? Blind following of western interests. And BTW, have you ever thought the support you provided to anti Taliban forces?
So you see the equations? India must not fear Talibs, they are local forces, and if India doesn't follow the western foot steps, then there is nothing to fear of.
Its not about if it was the only plane hijacked. Did you see the kind of support taliban gave to the hijackers? And seriously no country is interested in other countries benefits. So i dont understand what do you mean by blind following of western interests??

India is in that phase which i call NEWLY-RICH,they will do everything to satisfy their satire to control. They'll produce in -genuine fears to make their dreams come true. Akhand bharat is their new goal. Talibans n Afghanistan will b tools to get pak controlled n limited to play its Hegemonic tunes...
But they can get from AFGHANISTAN peace deal by pressuring pakistan to such extent where it comes to give n take position. This is their whole Strategy..

They want to divide your country. Don't you get it?

If you can shake hands with Thailand, with srilanka, Bangladesh, then why not China Pakistan and Taliban too? I mean, did Taliban ever threatened India?
Does Pakistan say that we have any other problem with you than Kashmir? Or did China attacked your country in 1962?
The planners sitting in Delhi will run away, and the people will remain there to bear the wrath of other countries. Its the west that is pulling strings of Indian regional policies since long ago. Just come out of this state.

US deep state must look inside now n they're. They just have enough of acrimonies in society, cracks in Economy, faltering of int'l clout n still they don't care then they'll face new realities..

Yes, that is what is kind of funny to me. I notice the people talk on here like we're in charge of such things.

On the other hand, if masses of common people demand things, insha'Allah it can influence the rulers. I hope popular outcry leads to something being done about the conditions in Karachi. It's horrible to hear about people having to put up with conditions like that.
It seems big when you're on PDF but once you step out and check the other options, you realise that in fact is pretty small as compared to other options like Twitter etc. PDF is not even among top 500 websites in Pakistan in terms of traffic.

Oh, I agree with you, brother. I wasn't suggesting this website represents the masses in some way. According to what I've read, most Pakistanis aren't even on the internet. I'm sure you probably know a lot more about Pakistan than I do, though.

"Iran" is Israel's vendetta which is being fulfilled by Trump and Trump is a Zionist owned pet-dog doing their bidding.

Yes, he really is. I'm surprised people have really bought the narrative that he's somehow an anti-establishment rebel. Authentic anti-establishment rebels don't become US President. I remember reading an article from the early 2000's portraying George Bush as fighting against the establishment. I think pretty much every politician is "fighting the establishment" allegedly.
