Police are urging three teenagers to hand themselves in following a violent home invasion in Melbourne's south-west 10 days ago and, in a rare move, have published their images.

On Tuesday, police released images of Mading Nyolic, 16, Deng Kuol, 17 and Bafal Gatluak, 16, who they wish to speak to in relation to the incident.

It is one of the few times the Children's Court has granted permission to publish the names and images of alleged youth offenders.

Police were called to a home in Peppermint Grove in Wyndham Vale about 5.40am on November 17 after five males allegedly forced their way into the house.

Detectives from the Wayward Taskforce arrested and charged two teenagers in relation to the incident last Wednesday and are now seeking three more.

"Detectives are appealing for the three teens to come forward to assist with enquiries in relation to the aggravated home invasion," a police spokesman said.

"The teens are known to frequent the Collingwood, Sunshine and Werribee areas."

An 18-year-old Melton West man faced Melbourne Magistrates’ Court last Wednesday charged with aggravated home invasion and theft of a motor vehicle and was remanded to face court again on December 10.

A 16-year-old Glenroy boy was also arrested last Wednesday and faced a children’s court charged with aggravated home invasion and theft of a motor vehicle, and was remanded to a later date.

It is an integration issue. For transparency, I am a first generation immigrant to the US. English is not my first language.

When you have a disparity of cultures like the US or Europe vs Africa or the ME, traditionally, the burden of adaption falls upon the immigrants. By burden, and am speaking from personal experience, the immigrant has to learn the dominant language, social practices, political structures, and even local customs that may not exist in other parts of the new country. The majority may extends sympathies to you and adapts to your language and customs to make you feel welcome, but you must understand that being an immigrant means whatever was in your past, it was inadequate for you so you to chose to leave, therefore, those sympathies are temporary as this is their country.

What have been happening for the past few decades was the slow erosion of that understanding with the argument and all cultures are the same. No, they are not. If all cultures are the same, we would not see the the gross disparity of national wealth like we have since the beginning of human civilization. Like it or not, national wealth is the best indicator of a people's accomplishments, sophistication, power, influence, and longevity. How many Germans petitioned to become French? And vice versa? Or become Swiss? On the other hand, how many Asians, Africans, and Middle Easterners want to come to these countries?

So when immigrants from poorer and less sophisticated cultures are told what they knew and how they lived are the same value as the host country's, why should they bother to respect and adapt? It is an integration issue. Anything less is willful blindness.

Are you saying that these gangs have chosen a life of crime because they have failed to integrate or adapt? What about the criminal gangs that are white? Or is this theory for only selective groups?
