Afghans blame everything on Pakistan like India. US withdrew its troops and its somehow Pakistani plan. There is a reason why Afghanistan is in such condition and the reason is Afghani people. Pakistan should deport all the refuges back to their home country and seal the border if we are sanctioned. Their president ran and somehow its Pakistan fault. Their army (trained by US and Officers trained in IMA) refuse to fire a single bullet. Ran with their tail between their legs is somehow Pakistan fault. US planes dropping bomb and their people from the sky is also somehow Pakistan fault. Australian forces killing innocent people to train their soldiers is also some how Pakistan fault.

I don’t think Afghanistan has any commercial viable mineral wealth. If they had, previous govt would have explored that in last 20yrs.

After another surge they would lose control and gain it back. Central government was only in major cities and once the US left those cities fell within hours to days.

People really need to understand Afghanistan and the resolve of Taliban. They're way more organized then the Somalian pirates..

Now also same problem, Afghani people are scared of Taliban. That is the reason you see large number of refugees pouring into Pakistan, Iran and other neighboring countries. They are just walking for days to save their lives.
If they provide stable govt with some basic human rights, that is good for Afghanistan. These Afghan people deserve it.

It's a blessing that ashraf ghani ran away a week before he should have. Had he stayed put and ran away after a few days or after army laying down their arms... then he could have been an eye candy for diaspora and anti taliban groups.
Kind of a government in absentia and a constant thorn in the side of the afghan government.
The same reason the panjsher resistance leadership should have been captured or killed. If not dealt properly they can become a ticking time bomb .. waiting for an opportune moment or future mischief by foreign governments should the taliban cross red lines... I.e. totally join China camp or announce support for stuff or programs which are not in the interest of west or anti China camp
