General Mubeen Khan, the former spokesman of Kabul Police Command, said that an Afghan has built an advanced drone aircraft, adding that the young man was facing financial problems, I supported him financially and now the plane is ready to take off.

the plane is ready to take off. According to Mr. Mubeen, this plane can travel 700 kilometers and can carry a bomb weighing 70 kg and two rockets.

He added that this plane can hit the target precisely.

@chinasun

It's called the Bakhtyar - G.Mobeen1231

why are they writing anything in english?
the range of this drone (if it can fly reliably) doesnt look to be more than a few tens to a few hundred kms
to the countries that share a broder - could be an irritant

but it looks like its made out of salvaged parts and duct tape

if it flies though, kudos to the engineer who built it!

looks like BS to me, the landing gear looks incredibly flimsy, the materials don't look at that sturdy, and the writings are in english and made to sound like Bayraktar, its clear what the intent here is. Lets see it fly and land, and then we can assess it further, right now it looks like a prop.

Why does it feel like the only thing holding it together is some duct tape.
Also Afghanistan doesn't have the ability to mass produce these and who are they gonna use it against anyway lol?

Some closer pics - some Taliban telegram channels are saying a Hazara engineer was given extra funding to complete it quickly for retaliation against Pakistan if it drones them.

The program was funded by the Taliban

Against Pakistan.

You need to watch their defence ministers speech talking about Pakistani drones flying above and they can't do anything about it. Hence funding was directed towards the project.

I think Afghans should invent suicide jackets and do extensive testing by strapping themselves with explosives and jump from a cliff.
