Afghanistan doesn't recognise Durand line as the International Border with Pak: Afghan Ambassador

.
True. The The Anglo-Afghan Treaty of 1919 clearly states that the Durand Line is formal border between and independent Afghanistan and British India. But when Pakistan declared its independence, Afghanistan thought the treaty lost its force and thought it could take all Pasthun lands once part of British Raj. This is the crux of the issue.

Personally, I don't think Afghanistan have any legal arguments in their favor. Besides Afghans, who is is disputing the Durand Line?

The funny thing is, the Chinese can use the same logic for every land grab opportunity they can get their hands on and Pakistanis cheer on...But Afghans do it and they are all monsters!

Cow shit! Afghanistan SIGNED treaty with British. Durand line is widely recognized by international community.

China NEVER SIGNED with British on the fabricated McMahon line, the stupid British and its Bharat slaves DARED to fabricate a border line, In 1927, Britain published a set of official documents "Acheson treaty set", the various agreements, India and all of its neighbors signed a treaty all included (no any about the McMahon line related documents). In 1938, the British government forge a series of "McMahon line" file the incorporation of this book, disguised as a book published in 1929, and the real one was burned. But there are still two copies of the real survivors, decades later found by scholars in the library of Harvard University and India office library.

Pakistan will not be held responsible for anything west of the durand line.

ISIS has thrived there under the corrupt warlords in the Afghan parliament.

There will be made no distinction if either our east or our west any ill advised limited war strategy.

Pakistan will like a good housekeeping father will go for the mother of terrorism in Delhi.

Durand line is legitimate international border. Afghanistan signed the treaty. They can not deny this fact.

Please!
The British agreed to the demarcation of McMahon line with the Tibetan Govt, well before Tibet became a part of China.
China needs to learn to respect treaties!
I don't need to read anything.
Similar to the Durand line, the McMahon line is a British legacy that we inherited that was signed by the rightful rulers of Tibet before it was annexed.
The comparison with the Durand line is apt because just like China, the Afghans are rejecting the validity of the treaty then signed with the rightful ruler of Afghanistan and the British. Chinese version of events is only applicable in China. We don't subscribe to it! Simple!

So peddle your cow dung elsewhere. Not interested.

this line of argument is actually beneficial for us.... let them argue this

We have a legally declared border with Afghanistan.

It is Afghanistan's house and they should make order.

Moab fell within Afghanistan's territory killing ISIS training factories of India post Yadev network i believe?

You have a warped understanding of international borders and their importance.

.
I do not understand the stupidity of Pakistani establishment to insist upon Durand line. We shouldn't recognise this line. Our ancient Pakistan, the Indus empire had all of the Afghanistan under its thumb. And since there is nothing more ancient in this God planet then our Indus, we are by default the original custodian of the lands which are now Afghanistan.

I am just saying ... afghans disputing Durand line is a 70 years old phenomenon ... when a weak Pakistan was born and afghans thought they can grab territory... now fast forward today... an increasing military might against an constantly occupied and destroyed country...

their are 0 universities may be a college....not sure.. less than 500 functioning schools in Afghanistan as per 2017.. there is no national grid...only parts of Kabul has electricity... may be a functioning dam... zero industry... no agriculture (well poppy excluding).....

if Americans leave some day.... how do you see this border dispute ending???
