First of all I agree with you on the India part. If one country shouldn't have had such a big Air Force that's India. They have crashed every single airplane they got.And I've heard that they almost crashed a Rafale as well. Pakistan has quality pilots and good aircraft as well.
Now as for the 1st Turkish Army taking the mainland within a week,that's exaggeration. Our land borders are a bottleneck of some sort and whoever tries to invade will suffer great casualties. It will be very difficult for the Turkish army to advance in that direction unless you maneuver through Bulgaria,but that would bring Bulgaria in the war maybe.

Yes,that is true. Actually we don't really expect anyone to get in a war for us. BUT if Erdogan keeps offending and threatening the French and Israeli interests in the area or in whatever area (for example the French want influence in Libya and Egypt and the Israelis want the Kurds as a distraction against the SAA,Turks,Iranians and Iraqis),then they could take action. I mean Erdogan keeps pushing it. Of course nobody in this time and age will start a war for insults,but when resources,deals and influence are threatened,then that's different

Turkiye is increasingly under threat, in a neighborhood, that is totally hostile and leveraging this stance to gain more sophisticated and cutting edge weaponry. It is becoming increasingly clear why Turkiye would seek strategic weapons and WMD's. Greeks and Israelis both brandishing F-35s are a source of regional instability now... further egged on by the French brinksmanship...

My friend,believe me if Turkey feels under threat it's because Erdogan and his government have been creating a climate of aggressive expansionism and instability in the region for the last 8-10 years.
You think Israel or Greece want to get in a war? No man. What a lot of Turks don't understand is that we re-arm because they force us to. Goes to show, NATO is not invincible and can be brought down to its knees, when America collapses as a Superpower. What's more hilarious is that both Greek and Turks operate F-16s. I can't stop laughing, looking at this as an outsider. I still can't believe that Russia nor China have exploited these canyon wide cracks in NATO. On the other hand, we have this tiny-island bee (britain) parading around the South China Sea with it's new Aircraft Carrier, thinking that this is intimidating a Giant like China.

For what it's worth, those NATO states apart from America in Europe who are not france, britain, netherlands or the Nordic States, are outside of the exclusive club of the West. They're treated as "Second Tier" and which is why Greece was treated the way it was, post 2008 Wall Street debacle. Heck, Germany has been kept out of the loop, of britain's childish "Five Eyes" intelligence group. The french, well they think they're kryptonian or something, want to create a European Military that is separate from NATO. Then there is also the funny as hell Spanish spate with midget-britain over Gibraltar, correctly known as Jabal-At-Tariq.

So it proves, NATO alliance is based on the lies that anglophiles tell themselves and want others (supposed allies) to believe.

And you know that the vast majority of people here were against most NATO wars at least since Yugoslavia onwards. We were against the war in Iraq in 2003,against the war in Libya,against the meddling in Syria.

No. We had austerity measures since 2009-2010 and slowly made it better. Many of the austerity measures are still in effect. And the governments from 2012 until 2019 neglected the Armed Forces. When it comes to the Navy,we were left behind,the land army was left without MRAPs,modern IFVs and other stuff. And even the Air Force had some problems. That's why we are trying to upgrade our army now,finally.
You see,Sarkozy was offering us Rafale and FREMM since the late 2000s,but nobody here did anything. Then Hollande was offering us FREMM as well,but the Germans said "no".
