I hope you do realize that what media sensationalizes and what govt. does are two different things. One again, if no major announcement was made vis-a-vis China, then this in itself shows that no one actually cared that much about it. Infact, the speeches clearly indicated that India is much more concerned about Pakistani sponsored terrorism and Afghanistan than anything else in its neighborhood.
