Abbottabad, the capital of the Abbottabad District, is located in the Hazara region of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The city is situated in the Orash Valley, 50 km from Islamabad and 150 km from Peshawar at an altitude of 1,260 metres (4,134 ft). The city is well-known throughout Pakistan for its pleasant weather, high-standard educational institutions and military establishments. Pakistan Military Academy is also located here.

Brief History: The town of Abbottabad, under the British Raj, was the headquarters of the Hazara District. It was named after Major James Abbott who founded Abbottabad in January 1853 after the annexation of Punjab. He remained the first Deputy Commissioner of the Hazara district from 1849 until April 1853.

Why not....check the number of visitors(Americans too) visiting the Hiroshima and Nagasaki nuclear war memorial...or the number of visitors at the Holocaust museum...

In pic. I have seen traffic congestion in Pak. or Rural Pakistan is very less except state of Punjab.
And that is 1 thing which makes me to visit these places.

India have many good places but every where u will find crowds which ruins the day. This over population is eating as from inside.

You are right about it, many tourist areas, unexplored areas has very less people, less crowded and clutter free as well, as there is less population, population density in Pakistan is half that of India.

Many new tourist areas being developed near Abbotabad and Galiat region....in KPK.

My point was getting the diversity out of adversity....opportunities in the face of challenges or threats, do a SWOT.

Also check the slum tourism in Mumbai.


And that OBL thing was just a USP, unique selling point, an RTB(reason to believe or RTV, reason to visit thing). The main purpose will of course be sight seeing, exploration, healthy pursuits.

My point was it can be used as a 'value addition' that OBL thing.
