Air Commodore Ahmad Salam Khan, who had a thrilling career from a dashing fighter pilot to the Sherdil Team leader and the first Shahbaz base commander hosting the Block-52s retired recently from the PAF. An album of his period in service with PAF is captured in this slide show video. There are some cracking shots of Block-52s.

The next man to watch out for. He's such a talented pilot that once during an exercise with /against the then Rafiqui Base Commander, he kept coming at him at such a position out of the Sun that the Base Commander was seen for two weeks constantly looking at his 2.oo O'Clock direction.

Fair enough. However, shouldn't these areas be off-limits though? Alot of the pictures in the video show pilots' faces. Doesn't that make them targets for a foreign intelligence apparatus operating in Pakistan? Look at how the Israelis take their security seriously! Their pilots show up in pictures and videos wearing flight helmets with the visors down. Only publicly known personalities like the chief of air staff are photographed with their faces. Is that not a valid concern?
