A Solution to Kashmir

One state solution. That state should have an another or united powerful muslim nations support at a time.

You mean the failed skirmish haha! By the way get your facts straight, its legally occupied. Time will come when we will take it back! Any facts put forward to you and then you duck your head in the sand like an ostrich. Its next to impossible reasoning with you people. Oblivious people find their way fate the hard way and no matter how many times history repeats itself there is no lessons learnt.

I have a more confidence in communicating and getting consensus with an anther alien life form, rather than reasoning with Pakistani's o_O

There will be no compromise on Kashmir, each and every inch should be retrieved back! even if it meant war to settle all scores!

Enough is enough, sometimes surgery is required to remove the cancer!

No you will not get Kashmir back, the future of Pakistani Kashmir is clearly to remain as a part of Pakistan, and the future of Indian Kashmir is clearly to become independent in some way shape or form. If you want to try and take Pakistani Kashmir, be my guest and watch what happens.

.
Perhaps, are you aware of Baloch Plight now you will be deaf !

And it is coming like a slap!

Another One !

Never heard of the man in EXILE, or his group! If all fails in getting a visa, plead for asylum, lol. Btw he's talking load of trash, my sister in law is from Punjab, so what discrimination is he talking about.

As for the protests, its about load shedding and poor amenities. People always complain in the summer months when its hot. Places like Islamabad are affected with load shedding.

The sisters are coming out and protesting without fear of being raped or harassed; that can't be said about IOK! Btw, NO ONE wants to join Hindustan. Look at the small size of the crowd and it speaks volumes about where they stand.

People on here know my anti-gormant and ginerals views, but that does not mean we want to break away from our beloved nation! It's our love for the country that we're critical and want the haram-khour in power to stop drinking and be better Muslims.

. . .
It's been almost 70 years since the dispute started. I think it's time to let it go and accept LOC as international border.

Oh I'm not talking about them coming to us, that won't happen. But they will get independence.

.
its a matter of perspectives maam.
since JnK is inside india's borders, so we shall forget Pakistan for a brief period of time.
now, any self respecting indian would not accept further division of our country. security, nationalism, or blatant ego. take ur pick.
but nationalism or ego cant be put above the well being of the general populace. unfortunately, security is a different ball game. now u will question, what kind of security risk we Indians have if we free Kashmir from the "ruthless clutches of India".
-- I ll answer geo strategic perspective vis a vis the honeymoon b/w china and Pakistan. we cannot give them free real estate on the platter. Pakistan cannot be trusted after what it did in Kargil ( don't bring siachen, as siachen was no man's land, but kargil was not).
--second reason being water. enuf said.
but is it morally correct to let a whole population suffer because majority of the country's ppl think that security is at stake ? for politicians , maybe yes. but for an ordinary person, its a big no. I believe we fight together , we die together. no putting forward a few to death to save many from some undesirable consequence.
so, what needs to be done ?
----immediate withdrawal of AFSPA.
----abolish article 370, even if the whole valley changes to stoneland.
----withdraw every security personnel (except police ) from the cities /towns/villages and put them on the border, so that Indians cant complain its the Pakistanis messing it up.
---- initiate large scale projects on education and industrialization on the same order.
---- when situation normalizes, both parts of Kashmir can be connected in various points (but that's at least one decade away, if the above steps are implemented at their timeframe.).

kashmiris are heartbroken, but they are not brainless idiots. if they need handholding, so be it. but priority will always be for the greater players here. states can play second fiddle. and Kashmir is not a player here, its a state.

For the bold part, why a section of the Kashmiri population 'suffering'? What they want? You cannot ignore the religious aspect of the whole problem, and can you morally agree to that? The religious minority population of J&K are Indians too, and the secular constitution of India has a responsibility to protect them also. What do you think will happen to them if we give 'freedom' to J&K or allow it to merge with Pakistan? Let's not live in denial that the problem is not religious, let's not live in denial that the religious minorities of J&K will be safe in an Islamic State of J&K or Pakistan, history shows us that they will end up as refugees in India, homeless, penniless, and devastated. There are many other implications of such a decision, how would you morally prevent the VHP and Bajrang Dals of the world from claiming a Hindu India, how would you morally defend the integrity of your country against other separatists after setting a precedence and giving them a 'successful' model of separation? @Joe Shearer @hellfire @PARIKRAMA since everybody is opening threads on it, maybe I should also open a thread with a detailed write up on it, as I see it.

VERY well written. This is precisely the problem, no matter what the occasional impertinent puppy says about it, from the safety of his chair in his parents' house.

You should open a thread on it, IMHO.

.
@Rain Man The problem with threads, which I realised with Chidambaram's statement the last time, is the tendency to get bogged down in past, defending/deploring actions of past. The baggage becomes heavy as it is rare to see people accept the past as is and move ahead.

It is an antithetical situation which we are in. Eloquently put in words by you above and @PARIKRAMA the other day; No politician on either side cares and it suits them to let the issue fester; the well being of en entire people who are citizens of India, whether they like it or not, be damned!

You should write up and start a thread. Pen your thoughts. Move from 2016 ahead. Am sure @PARIKRAMA and @Joe Shearer will be indulgent enough to chip in. Lets, for once, move ahead and not analyse retrospectively.

Very good input.

Start with today, here it is, a province of India in unrest. What can we do? What should we do? Conversely, what cannot we do? What should not we do?

Well I not an intellects than many of our members, but I would like to say, the real problem lies in the Govt. of India -- That they have always, no matter which govt. came tries to keep the Kashmir issue low. They opened the Vault for the J&K states and takes the deep breath "Challo Ek Saal Ke Liye Jhanjat Chutee" but never care to look up whether that Money is reaching the ordinary people or Not. And after so long period, I started fearing that the people of Kashmir might started feeling good to get the money without taking the hardship. There are two RAJ GHARANA in Kashmir, who have taken the whole slice of the Money send by the N. Delhi.

Senior Members can write good points, but I will give small points only, which I think are close to reality :-

1. Everyone is ignoring the real motive of the Terrorists -- Yes, the gets instructions from some one sitting in the HQ, but that one main motive is to destroy the source of earning, which is Tourism. By God, I have spend lot of years in Kashmir Valley, and I can guarantee the Tourism of Kashmir is the Buisness which is the key to normalcy of the Kashmir. People if don't have work/Jobs are more tend to get brain washed.

P.S Did you Know, before the Cable connection started in other part of India, the TV Tower of Doordarshan in Srinagar was playing Lattest Pirated Bollywood, Hollywood in DD-1 for the People to watch them and stay at their home. LOLZ

2. I think the road of Muzzafrabad and Srinagar should be activated and promoted more and more, and let the people of the So called Azad Kashmir visit the Kashmir and most important the REALITY and compare them with their side and part of the Kashmir.

3. And you should open a thread and invite the members, good luck for you. Tag me, I am looking forward to it. But I won't be able to join your thread, because I am littlebit unorthodox.
