The only problem in the Gulf are humans and nothing else really. We are not talking about the Arabian Sea, Red Sea or the Indian Ocean here. The Gulf waters are largely calm from the North to the South.
This is a normal beach in the Eastern Province of KSA. It is all very peaceful. The waves are much bigger in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea if anything.

Speaking about nature then I would be more worried about polluting the water with chemicals, oil, gas etc. than a hypothetical tsunami.
