A Martyr's Final Message to his Mother

[GreenFalcon]

O' mother please don't cry,
Your son is a Martyr,
and can not Die,

Shells were bursting,
and flares were flying,
I stood my ground,
with no fear of dying,

Foes were trembling,
with every stride,
Fighting for the Green,
was my only pride,

Piercing Bullets and
Bombs were dropping,
I smiled to the heavens,
As my chest did the stopping,

At last my time has come,
My face full of light,
as my body laid numb,

Though I'm not with you,
but know we shall meet,
In a time hereafter,
Where God Shall Greet,

Know that I'm happy,
As I say Good-bye,
O' Mother Please don't cry,
Your son is Martyr,

It is my very first piece believe it or not I have always had a keen interest in poetry but never really put my thoughts together until now. And even when I was writing this, the words just kept coming to me and in the end, I surprised myself too
