a Japanese version of trouble between China and Japan through history

wrong..Ming sent over 2 lakh(200 thousands) soldiers..

Joseon simply played their game..they kept Korea independent while Ming Dynasty soon fell within half century.then they fought against Manhchus using same Ming...but what happened???Manchu took control of China, yet,Korea remained out of their hand.then Japan came and simply drove China's remaining influence out of Korea.

if you study history of Korea, its not Japan who invaded them repeatedly, its China, who breached their sovereignty repeatedly.

Ming didn't have 200 thousand men to sent, our economy was ruined by hyper inflation because of our introduction of the first paper money and the Spanish silver/gold from the new world.

The fall of Ming had a lot of reasons, I don't want to go over it here, but just know the Ming didn't fall to Qing, it fell to Shun. Get your facts right.

Korea was defeated and made a subject of Qing, the Qing emperor humiliated the Korean king to show his superiority, from that point, Korea provided food, and soldiers for all future Qing campaigns.

I don't even want to talk about the other points, it's so far from the truth, it's almost as if you don't know East Asia history, oh wait, that's exactly what it is.

simple search will show how wrong you're...in two different invasions,Ming Dynasty sent two different forces consisting some 40000 and some 75000 soldiers along with some 100+ warships..

what I said is that Ming Dynasty fell and after brief period,Qing took over.Shu Dynasty didn't even live for one year.

Korea was defeated and made a subject of Qing, the Qing emperor humiliated the Korean king to show his superiority, from that point, Korea provided food, and soldiers for all future Qing campaigns.

Korea repelled first invasion and defeated at second invasion.they became tributary state of Qing, even then Ming Dynasty was very much alive.

I don't even want to talk about the other points, it's so far from the truth, it's almost as if you don't know East Asia history, oh wait, that's exactly what it is.

argue with points...no need to resort other conjuring ways.after all,we're here to discuss, not to ignore or diminish others view..

Come back when you can read 經略復國要編,there's no reason for Song Yinchang to lie.

Turnbull quotes from Japanese sources which were are separate clan records, these clan records greatly inflate the enemy side to show their valor,30,000 Ming soldiers dying in a single battle is ludicrous.

Funny,Joseon Koreans called themselves 小中華 after Ming fell.

Even the name Joseon(朝鮮) was named by the Ming emperor.

Not to mention that they viewed China as superior ie 天朝,天兵.

So you're saying Japanese wako raids,Imjin War and the annexation of Korea isn't a sign of invasion?

When Han dynasty made Lelang and other commanderies there was no single "Korean" identity or state.

Even the Sui/Tang Goguryeo wars, was fighting between different "Korean" states.

Not to mention Goguryeo's language is debated whether that be Tungustic,Koreanic or Japonic no one knows, also Goguryeo had a sizeable Han Chinese and Mohe population.

Bohai/Parhae has nothing to do with Koreans it was mostly a Sinicized Mohe kingdom.

thanks for your approach(others might have pound on me with illogical replies).but I'm unable to read your complete reply as you've used some unknown(probably chinese) font.could you post entire reply in plain english???also, please use link of sources as you can,so that I can study it further...

What total nonsense.
The establishment of the Qing dynasty is only a natural follow up transformation of the Ming dynasty, it happened because the Chinese people let it happen. Under the new Qing administration the Chinese underwent massive expansion while the Manchus themselves assimilated into Han culture and pretty much disappeared by the 20th century.

How did the Japs drive China's influence out of Korea? Even through the darkest days of the 19th century, Chinese dominion of the Asian mainland remained strong. On the Asian mainland, China is dominant and will remain so while the Japs on their volcano paradise will remain there in the periphery.
