that because you have not aquired the taste..agreed its an adult taste.. kids dont like anything remotely bitter..

I also dont drink anymore but not because of religious reasons, many Turks dont drink because of cultural reasons.

Well, taste is subjective - so there is no BEST.

However, most people who don't really like beer are put off by the bitterness.

So you could try something with a bit of sweetness to it like Innis & Gunn

Oak-aged beers.

Alcohol is pretty much unavoidable here. So many Muslims I know drink here.

In a lot of Arab countries as well as Iran they drink home made moonshine. I know they do this in Iran a lot because my Iranian brother in law said they used to make it in his village.

Iran has a huge problem with Alcohol and Drugs.

A large percentage of Iranians are Addicted to Alcohol and Drugs especially the educated ones.
