No country initiates a war hoping they would loose, Pakistan has initiated 3 wars with India 48 , 65 and Kargil and Pakistan is 0 for 3 on victory scale.

1) If India goes on Offensive as per pre planned strategy - Pakistan will loose. - 71 and 84.

2) If Pakistan goes on offensive as per pre planned strategy, the war will end in a stalemate, with Pakistan suffering heavier losses. eg . 48 , 65.

3) If the war goes nuclear, Pakistan will cease to exist a nation. whereas India will receive significant damage, but most likely survive, due to her size and population.

I remember the days Pakistanis used to be gung ho about 1 Muslim = 10 Hindu and how their military will win effortlessly. How far things have come since then.

But to be honest with you. I find it bad for India that Pakistanis have gone from 1 Muslim multiple Kafir and Pakistani Army steamrolling over to Delhi .... to fighting a 'peoples war' in which they would a large number of them personally will have to die to get victory. Implicit in this is the understanding that any war will be fought inside Pakistani territory, not Indian.

It shows some degree of realism creeping in Pakistani population thought process. One that says that if India fights a war, their military would be steamrolled and their people would have to fight for their very lives with everything they have...or die.

This also implies something else. One that may escape most people's notice.

The more realism that creeps in Pakistani public and political thought, the more their policies will be changed to reflect realities and better able to oppose our moves. So far India has been lucky for decades to have a Pakistani State that enacted weird policies based on unsound fancies rather than cold facts and which gave India a more or less free run.

I want Pakistanis to continue believing that their military will put their flag on the Red fort, that ruhani taqat will aid Pakistan army during battle. that 1 Pakistani = 10 Hindus. This is an advantage that I wish India continues to enjoy for decades and decades to come.
