QUETTA: A suicide attacker blows himself outside an imambargah in Bolan’s Goth Chalghari area on Thursday, killing at least five people and injuring many others, DawnNews reported.

Rescue workers and people of the area faced difficulties in shifting the injured to any hospital.

There is only one basic health unit in the vicinity, that too without a qualified doctor and proper health facilities.

More than a dozen people were injured in the blast, which rocked the village located in interior Balochistan.

Security forces have reached the blast site and cordoned off the area.

According to initial police investigation, a suicide bomber blew himself up outside an imambargah in Goth Chalghari area of Tehsil Bhag in Bolan district.

The injured would be shifted to civil hospital Sibi for medical treatment.

The explosion was heard in a wide area and shattered windows in the nearby vicinity.

Security has been beefed up in and around the locality after the blast, with contingents of FC and police patrolling different areas.

May the departed souls be granted the highest spot in Jannah, Amen! It is quite sad that such incidents take place even when the security is apparently fool-proof. I hope and pray no such incidents happen in the future.

While researching the blast, I came upon the following link. The writer does an interesting job whilst delivering the news. The writer gives it a humane and honest touch, which is rare, and desperately needed given today's media. It's such a shame that this news did not make the headlines as it should have on the TV.
