I remember the earthquake that struck here on the US east coast last year in August, it felt amazing. I would like to experience another earthquake but nothing catastrophic of course.

You think you guys got all those mountains for no reason? When the plates collide against each other the land has no where to go except up and mountains form. Afghanistan and Pakistan are very prone areas too along with Tibet and the Himalayas.
