50% of wealthy Chinese are ready to leave the country and consider the U.S. as #1 place to invest

"New Delhi: India is among the top five countries globally which saw the maximum number of millionaire outflows with as many as 6,000 ultra-rich people shifting overseas in 2016, 50 per cent more than the previous year."

It is easy to understand that most millionaires from developing countries want to move to developed countries.

Actually, anyone in India, not just the rich, would leave if they can.

Once ppl move out and settle in another country they only give lip sympathy back. May be some first generation chinese may have some emotional feeling for their origins but the later generations are absolutely american. They wont care to give a damn shit, it would be pretty embarrassing for them if you treat them chinese. As far as possible they will try to get rid of all their roots. They will get a western name so as not to be discriminated and follow western traditions.

This holds good for every one who settles in US irrespective of their origin.
What about all those Indian CEOs in United States ? :D

Not only india. It is the normal condition of most of developed countries include China.

True. But someone like Satyen Nadella or Subdai Pachai would be start their own business if they are Chinese. But as they are India, they need to leave India to have an opportunity. Unlike Jack Ma who would stay home.

It's a globalized world we are living in. The wealthy don't care about nationality, the world is their oyster. They have businesses and properties in many different countries and they fly every other week, either for work or recreational purposes.

To them their chosen country acts as a 'base' to reach out to other countries. What they look for in a 'base' is good global connectivity (passport, airport and location) for ease of travelling, healthcare and education amenities for their children to grow up, as well as a safe environment (political stability, rule of law and crime rates) for their family to be based in.
