TOTAL NUMBER: 44,500

Bosnia-Herzegovina, EUFOR Althea. Number of troops: 280.

Afghanistan, NATO/ISAF. Number of troops: 1,840. (Amphibious Marine Task Force consisting by 800 men has completed their mission and withdrew in 2009)

Kosovo, NATO/KFOR. Number of troops: 426 (also 63 law enforcemen personnel under EULEX Kosovo).

Northern Cyprus, Turkish Peace Forces Command Cyprus. Number of troops: 40,000.

Iraq, Army FOBs in Northern Iraqi Province, 2nd Army Command. Number of troops: 1,600.

Somalia, NATO/OOC. Number of troops: 2 Frigates (apprx. 380)

Azerbaijan, Turkish-Azeri Multinational Brigade/Baku, TAF-General Staff. Number of troops: Unknown (est. Brigade-scale)

Lebenon, UN...All Turkish military personnel has been withdrawn by General Staff since the THY incident.

Note: There are also several other countries but TSK stays there as UN Observers.

ahaaa...in fact Cyprus is one of the World's most militarised areas compared to civilian population.

We can withdraw the forces in other countries, but Cyprus. Well, we should stay there, and we will.

Protecting a destroyed airbase we can't even use(or repair to use) while surrounded by Peshmerge forces.
