What's new

36 aircrafts and 7 Helicopters for BD Armed forces

.
For some negative minded people everyone from BD is a RAW agent if he does not show affiliation to a certain party. I think, we should keep on continuing free discussion irrespective of whatever a few negative people tend to portray others.
its okey I guess, even BJP and congress supporters call each other funny things.
I was just pulling @idune 's legs... lolz

BDforever provided you "life line" so to speak when indian proxy war against Bangladesh is getting exposed and attention. BDforever is desperate just like indias on dismal fate Awami League is facing. That why this new thread of spam initiated when there were multiple other threads on the topic already exists.

since i joined in PDF, never saw ur contribution in military stuff. if u can not or have no knowledge about military stuff thats fine, we can teach you. But first do us a favor, stop ruining military threads with ur political thugs mind.

Good to know that brotherly Bangladesh is getting armed; together we will defend Chinese aggression. :D

Bangladesh doesn't have any active disputes/conflicts, nor any greater ambitions, thats why they're slacking off i think. Any existential threat, and they would have been armed to the teeth.

Waise now that the economy is improving, frankly i'd love to see thunders in bangladesh AF too. And if they go for a high-low mix airforce, the thunders can replace the low-end fighters while the Sukhois or Migs form the high end strike groups.

I read somewhere about bangladesh procuring pakistani sub too. Any authenticity to that? Pakistan should offer high-tech agosta 90s too. :-)

BD won't procure thunders as they are not good enough for BD's requirements.

The country is looking for a small number of high-performance aircraft.

sir, your old enough member on this Forum and might went though JFT Threads, The Aircraft itself is good enough 4 Gen and no need to be explained what it comes with or offered and what is not offered and what are it's limitation. Mig-29 has its own limitation being gas guzzler short legged for its self and for any extended maritime ops BD would definitely require in the future a couple of Air Refuellers. Malaysian have tons of money they rejected Mig-29s figure out why so. Regardless whether the future is Flankers or Fulcrums they would be downgraded than indian variants be assured. As you said it don't meet BAF requirements but could you enlighten us does a downgraded Flanker/Fulcrum would meet requirement because anything you get from russians would be discussion with your bordering neighbor namely hindustan, it has been like for ages they are critically important ally of russians. Another Question would an aircraft low cost along with all the armament BAF requires be a better option or an aircraft whose source codes for radar/weapons could be provided to hindustan in any conflict is a better option?.. There is absolutely no credible information if FC-1 or Pak variant JF-17 has ever been offered and will not be offered due to the current regime it is not BAF that rejects it, the fact is it has not been offered at all the whole talk is "lets say" a waste of time. The only option BAF has is Flanker/Fulcrum on the Chinese side they play safe you might not get hold of J-10 ever before you are asked to buy FC-1s to replace a few F-7s that is how market is, no easy cake.
