30 Horror Movies That Are So Scary, You Just Can’t Watch Them Alone

i was surrounded by friends
This reminds me of camping days as schoolkids, when after dinner we would sit around campfire and tell stories. Invariably the stories turned out to be " real life" paranormal experience sharing session. but the fun would start after retiring into tents and finding that away from city and civilization, in middle of field or woods isn't the best location to share such fake stories. :p:.
I remember one such instance vividly during class IX NCC camp when our Ustaadji (Junior instructor) told us a some of his Bhoot Pret stories, i was scared to my bones as were many others.
I'm others must have had such funny experiences too.

I used to stay in a hostel opposite to the cemetery, The cemetery is located just 10 m from my window.

The hostel is full of employees and every night if we need fresh air we have to open our windows and Tadaa ..... we see the scary tree and cremations, etc....etc....

One day my parents visited my hostel and forced me to move to another one !

Yeh i too dint find these scary though the movie Mama did have something some strange feeling .

:what:

anyway since the house adjacent to our house at backside wall does have some supernatural things and after 2am these things start running upstairs and downstairs with a lot of noise so we are use to it but when we have some guests well these guests get dead scared the second night as at first night they think the neighbours must have some emergency thats why they were running upstairs and downstairs but when our guests hear the same thing on second night they just sacred dead scared :P

Interestingly, though i feel a bit cold wave of scar when i pass by a cemetery at 9pm in our colony its just nearby a 10 minutes walk away, the kids of that area literally play in the cemetery in even at that time of the night running around the graves.

Many people have illegally occupied the cemetery land so their houses expanded to graves. I feel people become used to such things when they live along these

There are some shanties in Agra too nearby old Kabrastan (Muslim cemeteries) and people hardly take note of that. As u say after a while even the spookiest of things become normal.

Lolzz
I'd a similar experience in the hostel, when our seniors made up a story just to scare us.

my favorite is The Blair Witch project, how about u guys!

all other movie buffs

Rosemary's Baby is the only movie I've watched to date considering nail biting though I don't bite my nails for the record. I was already tense so enjoyed watching in the midnight with all lights off. Without the lucifer shit which keeps it out of my top 5, a classic and aforementioned is probably my best movie watching experience.

Otherwise I tend to smile heavily and even laugh a little while watching messy horror scenes

@anant_s have you watched The Tenant(Le locataireozz)? by Roman Polanski, Rosemary's baby's director. It's in French, nothing that scary but a unique piece of work

.
After watching Grudge and Conjuring i have no more appetite for Horror movie

This film is creepy as hell. This movie takes vampires to the next spine chilling level. This is a must see and stars a young David Soul.

Great film based on the better novel by the renowned horror writer Stephen King. Just the whole thing about something you love to dear that turns on you is just terrifying. The Ramons also wrote the soundtrack!

Classic ghost story, with a revenge flavour. It stars Jamie Lee Curtis aka scream queen herself. It has a great soundtrack and the acting is superb.

Brilliant film, not scary as such but it sure does have some creepy scenes of stalking and jumps. The film was years ahead of its time for special effects.
