one of my friend in NDA(air force) told me that is co was put on ground training when he got spectacles on during course...so it may imply it is applied to new recruits only??...no trolling please clarify

He is in last phase of his carrier as a Aviator,those who are signed to combat squadrons must have 6x6 eyesight.He is not signed to any CS....

@Zarvan fighter was armed with two short range missiles,dummies or alive please ask any senior member...

Traditionally I believe all Air Chiefs have lead formations on National day parades...

Always loved the background song.

I remember when I was young PTV would show videos of Pakistan's Airforce jets and soldiers, always watched those with excitement will forget playing cricket till end of that video . With these new channels hardly see any such videos anymore.

ps: That facebook page got one thing wrong; this is not the first time an Air Chief has lead the formation at the parade. In fact, it's a proud tradition.

I think at his position and rank it doesnt matter as he wont be doing regular caps or missions. he can still fly of course and its the tradition that PAF chief leads the flight past.
