2010's oldest Haji - 120 years old

. . .
Qassam se....Hajj is not that easy
It even takes the soul out of a young man....

Imagine the third day of Hajj when you are in Muzdalifah in the morning, walking to Mina and then to Jamarat for pelting the place of Shaitan, then go to the slaughter house to sacrifice an animal and then to the "Haram" for Tawaf-e-Kaba and Sae'ee which all-together is probably 10-15 kilometers of journey in my opinion - that people do on their feet with a limited amount of time.....Then you have to come back to mina before night.......

Thats really hard for young peoples as well...i understand she will miss Jamarat and slaughter house and somebody else will do on her behalf...... but...still

I understand she will use buses and wheelchair and will not walk herself but those buses are extremely over-crowded and then you get stucked in the road and delay your hajj manadatary rituals...

120 year is simply not a age for this purpose but yes true - If Allah is the protector - there is no need to worry

In sub-continent we have this issue of delaying hajj till the last breath. If you are young and opt for the journey people feel surprised.

I love African peoples for this reason as they go for Hajj or Umrah after they got married. Pakistanis guy for honeymoon to Murree, Swat, Azad Kashmir areas....Europeans go for honeymoon to far east or other european countries....

African Muslim couples usually go to Makkah after they get married

Thats a best age to perform Hajj/Umrah trust me.....not everybody can do Hajj after they reach the age of 50+

My parents went to Hajj for honeymoon... apparently it was a lot of fun in its special way (bus driver started arguing with another guy because AC was damn cold, he got off the steering wheel and conductor rushed to get in control of the bus).

Great. MashaAllah. But I have one objection.

120 years age and munni begum. :what: Why is that.?

:)

"visit Hajj"
"holy land of Saudi Arabia"

journalistic cockups by an uninformed reporter.

The second made me rolling down the chair with laughter.
