I invest in Halal things that are not forbidden. The economy will never be promoted by Ar-Riba. Pakistan will always remain cursed nation if they deal in dirty forbidden money. Az-Zakat is best way to promote economy.

I would say don't bother. When over seas they tell you that you can access your bank accounts ... no you cannot. Passwords don't work. Cannot log into your online banking and then they will say visit the branch. You are overseas. How do u visit.
Unless you go every month I wouldn't bother. You money will be stuck and there is no benefit

You don’t necessarily need to put your money in for interest. It’s just a current account and you can opt for halal stocks, properties or just use the account for family support, bill payments, etc.

Great initiative.
However, I am still unable to send to my Habib Bank's USD denominated Roshan Digital Pakistan account. I tried to send some yesterday but was rejected because Transfer Wise does not allow the money in Pakistan to sent as USD while my RDP account is in USD. This forum and even HBL's contact person I spoke to a few days ago that the received PKR would be converted to USD--but that was not the case for me.

I can't believe the difficulties! Almost giving up and ready to invest in some American places.
