A petition calling for Barcelona's 6-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League to be replayed has received the support of over 200,000 signatures.

Barca appeared to be on their way out of the competition after they lost 4-0 to the Ligue 1 side in the first-leg of their second round tie. However, Luis Enrique's men became the first team to overcome a first-leg deficit of that magnitude when they demolished PSG at Camp Nou.

Referee Deniz Aytekin was heavily criticised for his performance in the game, giving the home side two penalties, and reports circulated that he could be demoted as a result.

While PSG fans felt aggrieved at some of his decisions, one man, Luis Melendo Olmedo, wants the thriller at Camp Nou to be repeated.

The request was set up on Change.org, which allows people to post various petitions on issues such as women's rights, immigration, war and discrimination.

According to Olmedo, the thrilling encounter must be revisited because of "incidents that seriously damaged PSG as a result of the German referee Deniz Aytekin, who gave Barcelona an advantage with his refereeing decisions".

On Sunday, Barcelona were beaten 2-1 by Deportivo in a surprise loss that saw them surrender top spot in la Liga to rivals Real Madrid.

The Blancos - who host Barca on April 23 in the second Clasico of 2016-17 - are two points clear of Lionel Messi and Co. with a game in hand.

A petition demanding that Barcelona's Champions League second leg match with PSG be replayed has garnered over 100,000 signatures online.

Barcelona overcame a four-goal deficit from the first leg in Paris to triumph 6-1 in the Nou Camp and book their place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

The match, which saw Barcelona score three goals in the last five minutes, was hailed as 'the greatest comeback in football history' as Sergi Roberto's stoppage time finish capped off a miraculous performance.

But one Real Madrid fan has demanded the tie be replayed due to the performance of referee, Deniz Aytekin.

Aytekin was heavily criticised for his performance in the Nou Camp after he gave two controversial penalties for Barcelona and turning down PSG's appeals for a spot-kick when Javier Mascherano slid in on Angel Di Maria.

Real Madrid fan, Luis Melendo Olmedo, has set up the petition on change.org and has asked that Uefa strike the result from the record.

Olmedo cites "incidents that seriously damaged PSG as a result of the German referee Deniz Aytekin, who gave Barcelona an advantage with his refereeing decisions" as the inspiration behind the petition.

Barcelona defender Javier Mascherano admitted he had fouled Di Maria in the penalty area with the Argentine closing in on goal.

"I made contact with Di María. It’s obvious it was a foul. I’m not going to lie about it," he told Spanish newspaper AS.

Despite the number of people who have already signed the petition, the absence of any such appeal from PSG means there is no prospect of UEFA ordering an unprecedented replay.

Barcelona's hopes of winning La Liga were dealt a devastating blow on Sunday evening as they fell to a 2-1 defeat to 17th placed Deportivo La Coruna.

Luis Enrique was forced to make five changes to the team that beat PSG on Wednesday as Alex Bergantinos's 74th minute goal was enough to consign the defending champions to a shock defeat.

The result leaves Barcelona one point clear of Real Madrid at the top of the table, but Zinedine Zidane's side have two games in hand and will replace their rivals as La Liga leaders with a victory on Sunday evening.

1st of all their will be no replay.

2nd it was PSG game to loose they had abig hand in their defeat by giving letting them inside their own half

3rd PSG players should be investigated....

@SherDil

O bhai did you watch the match ?

A referee can help in 1 goal advantage 2 goal but after that it's too much. Either PSG were over confident or prepared to loose.
I've watched the entire match laly. and u are right we can blame referee for 2 goals but that 2 goals cost PSG.
beside that the referee wasn't active on PSG side and didn't gave any foul in Barca box, whereas on PSG box same referee didn't take a breath to give a foul.

I am not against Barca as we all know they are one of a kind team in football, but laly it was for sure that the match was not supervised well on UEFA standards, it was more like a B grade league match (as far as supervision/organizing is concerned)

@Doordie
People criticize Portugal for there not upto standard football in Euro 16. than why not criticize that match which was so far away from UEFA standards ???

I am also suspecting the match was rigged !!! Normally in betting the odds are normally 1000x when you are loosing by 3 goals in last 3-4 minutes . Also it is rediculous to have 3-4 questionable decisions by referee and the game is not rigged

If Mafia places a bet of 10,000 on game it can turn into 10 million

Incident #1 Di Maria's Obvious 100 % PK as clear as glacier's water
1489011978_266986_1489012229_noticia_normal.jpg

Every one but the referee failed to see this and hand Barcelona player Mascharano a Red card. The foul was done while Barcelona player came from behind and stepped on Di Maria's foot any foul from behind like this is a red card , also any such intentional foul to stop goal is also a red card.

#2 Incident Two questionable Penalties against PSG
maxresdefault.jpg

PSG player was ahead and fell naturally due to loss of balance, and Neymar comes Jumping over him hits his head while he is on ground and then Referee award a Penalty

#3 Incident Three: Suarez pretending like he was shot with a Sniper Rifle when the PSG player merely touched him so lightly as one defender could
gFQ5pvf.png

This is considered a very minimal contact between forward and defender, and the touch was only for less then second however Suarez goes down like he was shot with rifle (acting it up , faking or overselling) and referee gives another PK

Really he was not shot on his throat or touched there in any capacity

This was clearly a case of Simulation

O bhai the level of football in my opinion especially in 2010 2014 world cup or European cup was way below. The standard of playing football in my time was better when teams were playing good football the likes of Van bastan, Robert baggio, Romario, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Robert carlos and the best of all Maradona they made the game very attractive because of them I start watching football not because of the current generation who loves to play for clubs but can't play for their country properly big example is your Messi...

Its Obvious,this match was rigged.

I am not one usually for conspiracies, but this time I definitely felt like there were just too many inconsistencies. I dont even follow the Spanish or French leagues, so no bias against Barca here.

I won't say its rigged. PSG is a crap team. They are not on the top this year in French league after bra left them.

But still referee was crap for sure.

What also raised suspicion in many people was that people claim , that they did not showed instant replays inside the stadium
