Israel on Friday and Saturday allowed 15 Syrians into the country for medical treatment after they were seriously wounded in the civil war to Israels north. The number marks a new record for injured Syrians allowed into Israel.
One of the patients treated at Poriya was quoted by Channel 10 as saying he had been injured in the village of Raqqa when challenging the security forces that had established roadblocks closing the villagers inside.
One of the men had been brought to the Israeli-Syrian border by fellow combatants who said they knew of wounded comrades who had returned to their homes in Syria after being treated in Israeli hospitals.
And before the rafidis pipe up about Israel helping rebels- many of those injured were civilians, including several children that were taken to Israel.
