There was more going on with Dhoni for people who know cricket.

Never thought Dhoni of all players would do a Modi27th on India.

A 72 ball 50 with more dot balls at the end than the situation called for that actually pushed a set and fluent Jadeja to get under pressure and get out while Dhoni choose to actually shoulder arms and let the ball go well left.

Even the bowler Lockie Fergusen was shocked when Dhoni simply let a wide short ball go without even moving his bat or show any intent to flick the ball. Something he did do 7 balls later and scored a six but Jadeja was gone by then...

Then Dhoni didn't care to dive to save his wicket and literally threw the world cup final away.

Karma is a bitch indeed...remember how Dhoni did the same by design against England to the astonishment of even the Indian commentator Saurav Ganguly.

Nope i´m not celebrating Pakistans win in cricket -because there aren´t any. I am one of those people here that wrote that Pakistan did NOT deserve to be in the semi finals because of their performance..

And yes i too celebrated that India lost - but did not bring in Pakistans performance.

Just going by twitter, other forums Dhoni has been under the microscope for some time. I agree with you he is not to blame for this loss but they need a scapegoat. Search his name you will find articles about fans calling for his ouster.

My friend, twitter is filled with a bunch of pussies who cannot actually play cricket or have less athleticism compared to even a fly, but feel that passing comments behind a screen will make a difference.
I take the twitterati with a grain of salt.

Everyone in the cricket world knew that Indian's middle order is not tested in the CWC in tight situations.
The real test would be if they upper order doesn't perform.

Had Pakistan won the match against India, then you might have some merit to that comment.
You go to the semis by winning, and you don’t by losing. Pakistan lost games and convincingly, that’s what kept you out, NOT India!

No. Given how Sri Lanka is playing and Pakistan's history against Sri Lanka, the rained out game vs Sri Lanka was **probably** for Pakistan to win and thus Pakistan would have been in the Semi final. Of course nothing is assured but the way numbers work for India vs Pakistan is the way numbers work for Pakistan vs Sri Lanka; it must be some psychological choke-hold.

India cannot be forgiven for the deliberate loss against England!! Even some senior Indian retired cricketers and segments of Indian media are alluding to the Indian low ethical play against England.

Cricket is one of those rare outdoor multi-nation and multi-billion sports in the world where there is still some ethics and manners left. India violated those norms, just to give the Indian citizens some 'satisfaction' of cheating Pakistan out of the world cup.
