The democratic institutions must be strong and there must be consensus on the direction of progress then nation states will make economic progress without a decisive leader. Single leader making the all the decisions is recipe for disaster. There have to be check and balance since the dictatorships don't work.

The biggest disaster is, many of your parliamentarians have dual citizenships. If they are convicted in Pakistan for some crime, they run away easily. This is Not democracy.

Imran Khan self made millionaire he does not need to steal. Both Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari stole from the government. Hopefully when elected he would prove his worth.
