Which neighboring country is arming these militants?

These are internal problems. Some of these terrorist groups had camps in Myanmar, Bhutan, Bangladesh apart from the remote jungles in India, but they have been taken out.

Who the hell are you calling terrorist? Don't insult freedom fighters. BTW is Manipur in Kashmir? Or were it the Maoists?
Manipur is a state of India in it's North East. Google for it.

EDIT : @levina I may not be totally aware, but do we have some external hands involved, so far as Manipuri insurgency is concerned.
Also, I thought militancy in North-East is pretty much dead. This must be an anomaly.

Do you have evidence indian activities . Even if yes no one cares

And how is this relevant to the post where you wanted us to guess about which neighboring country is arming the Manipur millitants?

As always these proxy mercenaries are against the development in Manipur.

Not even 5 days back it was announced that Manipur will soon get a 400 KW power project at an estimated cost of Rs.124 crore, improvement of Telecom network sector, upgradation of Silchar-Imphal road Highway and even talks were hold to upgrade Imphal Airport.

You said they were being armed by a neighboring country. Please educate us, name the country (with the assumption you have hard evidence) so that we know who is arming these militants.
You would not believe me. Would you??
So its better you contact the so called "freedom fighters" to know who backs 'em.

If u want to remain in delusions about terrorism in india, its ir choice.terrorism in east india only has killed over 40000 people in last 30 years only.
You're right!!
These are terrorists, and they have been killing our country men.

The number is 20 now

In fact in India the number of casualities decreased considerably compared to a decade before of such attacks.

Yes, Indian Army has neutralized these proxies.

54 fatalities [20 civilians, 10 Security Force (SF) personnel and 24 militants] were recorded in the State in 2014, as compared to 55 [21 civilians, six SF troopers, 28 militants] in 2013. Manipur had registered 485 insurgency-linked fatalities, including 131 civilians, 13 SF personnel and 341 militants, in 2008.

Fratricidal clashes between Naga militants also declined. There were just five such clashes through 2014 resulting in three fatalities. These clashes occurred between the Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) – at times a combined force of ZUF and Nationalist Socialist Council of Nagaland–Khaplang (NSCN-K) – and the NSCN-Isak-Muivah (NSCN-IM), and between NSCN-IM and NSCN-Khole-Kitovi (NSCN-KK). There were seven such incidents, resulting in nine fatalities, in 2013.

@Horus : Sir many Pakistanis on this thread are rejoicing and making fun and neither their post been removed nor any ratings awarded. Had this been the other way around, Indian members would be looking at a perma ban or at least one strike. Why is this differential treatment ? Are Pakistan martyrs some how holier than ours ??

I'll get the thread cleaned.

Casualty figure right now at 20. Strong chances that this figure might increase further. Worst attack in years in terms of casualties.

Rest in Peace
Condolences to our Indian members here
There is a famous saying in Punjabi ' dushman marey te khushi na kariye, sajna vi mar jana' so please avoid making Nasty comments. Celebrating another human beings death & suffering is shame full at least.

Is there an insurgency or militant movement going on in Bihar ?

NEW DELHI: Twenty armymen were killed when militants ambushed their convoy in Manipur's Chandel district this morning, in what is being described as the worst casualties the Army has suffered since the Kargil War of 1999. 12 soldiers have been injured.

The soldiers belonged to the 6 Dogra infantry regiment, which is de-inducting from the Moltuk valley. The convoy was ambushed between Paralong and Charong villages, about 30 km from state capital Imphal, where the soldiers were headed, at around 8.30 am, the police said.

The attackers reportedly used Rocket Propelled Grenade or RPG launchers and other arms.

Central security agencies have said they suspect a mixed group of militants from the Naga group NSCN(K) and the United National Liberation Front of Manipur, or UNLF, is behind the attack.

The jawans injured were airlifted by the Army for treatment, the police said. A reinforcement party of security forces is combing the area for the militants, they said.

Chandel saw a shutdown yesterday over the killing of a woman, allegedly by soldiers.

RIP warriors, your sacrifices will not be forgotten nor go unavenged.

Year on year we all can see these "militancies" are dying a slow death and peace is becoming the norm in the troubled regions- this is making the last lot of diehard scumbags more and more desperate to show they are still relevant. Cornered tigers are the most dangerous. A few more years and these losers will be in the ground.

All militancies in India are dying a slow death but this is the time to be most vigilant against them.
